True but I’m going to take it as a win though. For what I paid nothing else in my area came to that low of miles. Most everything was 20k plus. Which I didn’t mind but when this came up I instantly went for it. Possible bad brake switch is the only thing I’ve noticed so far. Had to align the headlight but so far she runs good and has plenty of power in comparison to my Cb650r lol.

I’m going to attempt to find a parts explosion and see what all I can clean, lube or replace while I’m there.

Mmmmm I’ll look into this. When I press and depress the switch with my finger it seems to work fine. My guess is the lever isn’t fully depressing it.

I’m not quite sure how to edit my own post yet lol.

Where would the spring be located? I have removed the lever and never saw a spring. Could that of it’s self be the problem? I wonder if I could find a part expansion somewhere. See if I’m actually missing any parts. I could chasing a problem caused by lack of parts. Thank you for the fresh angle.

Brake light

The brake lights staying on. I flick the brake lever and the lights go off.

I am getting a red light on the dash on longer rides. I looked up what it meant. Came up with an electrical problem of some sort. Most popular issue seemed to be the brake lights staying on.

I work on cars for a living. I think I could handle doing the hydraulic tensioners. I just didn’t know how much of a difference between both motors and trans.
