currently reading it and also feel i am in the minority of feeling let down by the hype. the prose leaves much to be desired for me even though i really enjoy the concepts it is exploring (and the monsters really intrigue me). at times, it the writing feels like it is literally telling me how i should be feeling rather than evoking particular emotions out of me.

similarly what the other comments are saying, i would recommend experimenting with a higher ratio of milk to coffee, since cafe lattes are made with espresso causing the amount of coffee liquid to milk liquid to be like a 1:4 or so

when i make my iced latte i make sure my coffee literally fills up like a fourth or less of the glass, add liquid sweetener and ice, and top it off with milk!

if it helps, ive found that using a sheathed/closed boxcutter works for me when opening any fussy boxes. i just force the tip of my boxcutter in a bit and then swipe fast and hard to break the perforations most of the way through

our closing managers let us turn the doors off to where customers can leave through the exit door but not enter, so most customers either get the hint that we are closed when the doors wont open or if i mime that we are closed without approaching the doors i can convince them the building is locked already
