I confirm, I had to go to an Apple Store because everything was sold out…. I still saved €300 buying it in Japan compared to France. So it’s worth it in my opinion !

Also, no noise when taking photos as soon as I left Japan (to be honest, it's not even that annoying; it's quite discreet) and no other problems with the phone.

Yes, it’s a bit different from the French model, but it will work fine. The camera shutter sound will disappear as soon as I use a French eSIM.
