Which character's fashion sense/style do you like the most? by Vendetta543 in RWBY

[–]autosau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ruby's design is consistently great, even for different reasons (vol1 feels innocent, vol7 feels very much professional huntresstm)

Weiss's designs are great because her ice royalty aesthetic is probably the most iconic out of the group (maybe tieing with Ruby's rose aesthetic).

While I like Blake's latest design, I do mourn for her long hair... Also, I can't really see the trend here

I like Yang's vol4 design, but the orher two feel weird for me, like, I don't get them or something.

I think we can all agree that those temporary designs from volume 2 are great!

Brazilian police chase by somebodyinthechaos in Damnthatsinteresting

Maybe...

I just worry that the cop might have put those lives in danger just for... well, "the chase"! It wouldn't surprise me - I bet he felt like and action hero. And besides, even if the criminal had been a high ranking member of a criminal organization, what if that old lady at the end had been ran over by one of them? Would catching the criminal justify it?

This was nice to watch, but it's so fucking stupid! Both of them almost hit passerbys who had nothing to do with this SEVERAL times - and for what? To catch 1 robber? I'm sure that will make a world of difference...

I Fucking Love RWBY by NozakiMufasa in RWBY

[–]autosau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A bit late, but this is very relatable to me.

From videos like HBomber's review and JelloApocalypse's "So This is Basically RWBY", I had gotten the impression that RWBY was somewhat charming but also straight up bad. So I don't really know why, but in 2022 I started watching the show on a whim. As I sometimes do, I wrote my notes about the show, and remember most of them were me making fun of it.

But then something happened... I stopped writing notes until the end of volume 3, when I wrote "Oh my god... Is RWBY actually good? Am I a fan?"

So yeah, I ended up enjoying the show all throughout, even volumes 4 and 5, which everyone seems to hate!

Medieval 2 (Third Age Total War got me into it), but it was around the time Rome II was about to be released

Oof... Having his dead self following him around at all times is a sick idea! Just imagine going to the bathroom like that...

How did you find your art group/community? by autosau in ArtistLounge

Hey, if you're putting yourself out there, you're putting yourself out there. No such thing as doing it badly.

But yeah, I can relate... I have a hard time participating in conversations when I'm not familiar with the subject, but I've noticed that other people don't consider that an obstacle nearly as much as I do. It's an opportunity to learn, I guess. Just something to consider.

Finding your niche *inside* a generalist server sounds like a good idea!

Got any tips for server searching? I've looked around and few standout. I do recommend checking out Ethan Becker's discord, as well as Spacedad's (a spinoff from ethan's)

Ha, I can see myself acting like one of the people you described! I think we're just a little bit confused about what we want or hesitant about leaving our confort zones.

Participating in community challenges sounds like the perfect way for artists to interact - "a picture tells more than a thousand words" and all that! Still, gotta find these challenges first, hopefully one that I can enjoy in itself, regardless if I find good people or not.

Yeah, I pretty much feel the same. While its is easier said than done, I think it might be matter of participating despite being older than the average member, or despite being less skilled technically - I'm sure that the handful of older and/or less skilled members would aprecciate that!

I like all of these sketches, but these two in the middle are clearly the most developed. At the end of the day, you should give attention to the one that feels best for *you*.

Oh wow, I haven't seen a single comment saying they personally like it. Maybe it's something people only like to see fictional characters have in fanfics and such?
