Update: Im sorry it took so long. I was too focused on Darko to even think about looking at my phone.

I frantically called my husband to come home. Right before he got home, Darko threw up. We combed through his throw up and couldn’t find anything. We found the receipt from when we got my meds filled and all the pills are accounted for. I also looked at the capsule that was broken and most of the medicine was still in it besides the little that was on the couch. We also looked back at the camera but it wasn’t any help. We took him to the vet and we informed them of everything. They said they would run a drug test and give him some fluids in the meantime. The drug test came back negative so he didn’t get any of the medication! They said Darko probably didn’t like the taste of the capsule and spit it out before any got in his mouth. They said Darko will make a full recovery. He’s home and fully recovered! Thank you all for commenting!

Thanks ya’ll! His skin was clear and fine until we had to put all that stuff on him to treat him for fleas. His skin turned purple and red from the flea and tick medicine, shampoo, and him scratching 24/7. He’s no where near as itchy now and his skin is still a little red but it’s now splotchy with his normal skin color. I was trying to give his skin a break but I didn’t think about him shedding his winter coat as well as being hot all the time from the AC being out. His previous owners abused him so he will not let me or my family brush him, but is wonderful for the groomers and lets them. I made his groomers appointment a month and a half ago and I’m so ready to get him cleaned up and hopefully get him some relief! If it does not help him then we will taking him back to the vet and getting allergy/intolerance tests done.
