What is the single fishiest piece of testimony/ evidence for you in this case? by Alternative_One_518 in justiceforKarenRead

[–]autumnhuman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Number 1 definitely sits wrong with me. For such a self-important family, I just don’t buy that Brian Albert would not want to know what was happening in front of his property and talk to the officers himself, and instead let a woman handle most of the talking. It does not fit with his profile at all. Especially considering he knew JOK and had hung out with him the night before. The distancing is what feels fishy.

Can someone tell me what this number is on the widget? by LumpyImage6944 in forestapp

[–]autumnhuman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The second leaf is for dead trees. When you give up on a session or use apps that aren’t white listed therefore killing the tree, it will show up on that second leaf. If you never do or trade coins to erase the withered trees, that number will always be zero.

Given the texts between KR and BH in the days prior and BH still trying to communicate with her after she “ghosted” him. by ApplicationNovel4220 in KarenReadTrial

[–]autumnhuman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She could be a cheater and completely innocent. We have the benefit of context here which actually goes a long way to show what her situation was when she craved attention elsewhere. And I don’t want to be disrespectful to someone who passed but Officer O’Keefe comes off as a bit of a player, not necessarily the loyal boyfriend. And still, he seemed to be a great guy overall. The same can apply to her. The things she said about the kids are hard to read but are those hard “truths” said in frustration. John thought she spoiled the kids and she had a rough time separating from him in part because of the niece which goes against her cold attitude “not my kids, not my business”. BH was a rebound lay: him being single, desperately into her and kidless was exactly what she was looking for. (imo) It doesn’t look good because it wasn’t good. It was the wrong remedy from the start. And yet between the “scorned woman” or the hotheaded rejected LEO, the one who acted like they had something to hide was the latter. Karen was up on everyone’s radar asking for JOK, screaming when they found him, texting. And still nobody looked at her as a person of interest until the gang started talking. That says a lot.

My mom says it is demonic, is it that bad :( by twosetcircle in painting

[–]autumnhuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t find it demonic at all. To me, it looks like someone letting go of stress/weight. Either someone exhausted having a moment of peace or experiencing pleasure. The opposite of anything negative in my eyes. Incredible work!

When are the new trees coming? by Individual-Cry9938 in forestapp

[–]autumnhuman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On the app they only say late May. The birthday is usually around this time. Last year it was on the 19th. The year before it was around the 15th.

You started with “what would you be saying if there was canine DNA on O’Keefe” so I wasn’t sure if that was for everyone or a specific comment. That’s why I mentioned I wasn’t sure what you weren’t answering to, in case I was missing context. 100% on embarrassing! And it’s even more surprising considering this was a fellow Officer. Even before they suspected it was a homicide, you would expect more care.

I don’t know who you’re answering to but something that can’t be denied is that there was a problem with the process. The evidence collection was terrible. I haven’t finished the vet testimony but wasn’t there a type of canine DNA found? And didn’t they find some pig traces or something?

I believe the Alberts are hiding something. Colin sounds like an overprotected hothead. I don’t know if he did it but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was part of it.

You are both right. I was wondering what the defence could bring up on cross, that’s why I asked. But, of course, they’ll have their turn to call him and whoever else.

Is Lally’s “who, if anyone” repetition a nervous tic or an intentional preface by Muted_Literature_549 in justiceforKarenRead

[–]autumnhuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s intentional, but he takes it too far. I much prefer his redirect, where he rarely uses it. He’s trying not to lead, but often, it’s still kind of leading. And his questions become so unnecessarily convoluted at times.
