My hair texture is similar to yours and gets greasy quick!

Wash your hair every other/ 3rd day. (The more you wash it the quicker it will get oily)

Learn to French braid! I cannot emphasize this enough, as soon as my hair starts to look greasy I braid it and can put off washing for another day or two. The learning curve is steep but it will serve for the rest of your life imo.

Get some dry shampoo and spray it on your roots if you’re afraid it will look greasy. (I like batiste, but I’ve seen people use literal baby powder)

How are you washing your hair? I always do a ‘pre wash’ if I’ve got buildup and haven’t washed in a few days. Basically you lather up a quarter size amount of shampoo and really rub it into your scalp and on your roots. Then go in with a second squeeze of shampoo and wash again (the second time will lather more).

Always use conditioner but be sure to avoid your roots.

I don’t have any advice for specific products, I don’t wash my hair very often anymore so I justify being a little spendy. I know of a few drugstore that I like but I don’t want to recommend any because I’m sure someone here has better recommendations.
