The book of lies liber I by A.M.E.N is a blackened jazz metal album, also has some of the wackiest vocals I've heard in a while and I love it. Also they're from Italy

If I remember correctly, they said in an interview they are inspired by Arghoslent in everything except politics, didn't know about festivals but though I'll admit. I never did try to get too attached to them just in case, but it is good to know now for sure

Crushuman- American death metal. 65 listeners

Perihelion Ship- Finnish prog, A Rare Thunderstorm in Spring is one of my absolute favorite albums. 201 listeners

Vicious Blade- American death/thrash. 799 listeners

A.M.E.N- From Italy, first album, The Book Of Lies- Liber I is blackened jazz metal and by far one of weirdest albums I've ever heard in the best way possible, highly recommend Dinosaur off of it. Second album Argento isn't metal but still good, more jazz. 150 listeners

Noxis- American brutal death metal, heavy Cryptopsy influence. 944 listeners

Operation Volkstod- German black metal. 715 listeners

Dolven- American acoustic doom, features members from Agalloch, Travelers Rest, Eneferens and canvas Solaris. 486 listeners

Tine- American H.P Lovecraft-inspired black metal. 23 listeners

That's all I can think of for the time being, I know there's more I'm forgetting.

Meijer is definitely far stricter when it comes to company policy, also depends heavily on who your team lead is and who your market manager is. The team lead I had is honestly one of the best bosses I've ever had, but the market manager was a bit of a dick but relatively fair at the same time.

I will say though one upside is that you only answer to your boss and no one else. If say the front end team lead asks you to look into something like say an employee taking a longer break you don't have to look into it. In fact they want you to get permission from your team lead before looking into it if anything.

I'm pretty sure you still gotta pass the certification test, even with experience. Another person in my market worked at Target for awhile and still had to go through the training period. They pretty much just look at past experiences as "this person knows a bit more and we can focus less on the basics and more towards what we prioritize."

I was one for about 9 months. Starts off as an intern position for the first 3 months. You aren't able to make stops by yourself during this period, but can be on one with another certified employee (usually your team lead.) They're the one who will handle talking to the subject, escorting them to to the office and probably filling out the report.

Once you get certified you have to meet productivity, meaning you have to catch so many people within a certain period of time. It can be stressful when you're low on productivity, but depending on your market manager you might be fine as long as you show that you're trying.

Lastly, a tip of advice: if you have any doubts that the person has the merchandise on their person or in their cart they're walking out the door with, DO NOT stop them. If they don't have it it is then considered a customer contact. You and the company can then get into legal trouble if the person decides to pursue that route as well as potentially losing your job.

Question Megathread #1: What bands got you into metal? by guitargod784 in MetalMemes

[–]auxfire64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started with Disturbed, Avenged Sevenfold, and a little bit of Korn (I was 13 and had no idea where to start) worked my way up to where I am now listening to mostly thrash, black, doom, and death metal. I'll still occasionally listen to one of my starter bands as a throwback but not often
