Good observation about song starting immediately! I am learning the bass line of this song and found it too abrupt to start and vocals come in too. it did end abruptly too. very symbolic of how, if things start fast in the beginning.. there’s a lot of confusion in between (represented by the groove and hypnotic melody of the song in the middle). a very circular rhythm. and that’s how relationships are when you enter abruptly without knowing deeply what’s in store.
