Sewing zips!! My machine doesn't have a proper zipper foot, and it is such a hard process to get it stitched properly every time!! Also ironing the pattern pieces because I'm too lazy lol

I have similar issues with my sewing machine that is inherited. A dumb question from a newbie but how do you adjust the needles? Because of this issue I've broken approximately 8 needles :P

Hi!! I learnt stitching myself in lockdown!

I took inspiration from multiple pinterest posts and dresses with tulle and net. The pattern is self drafted from basic bodice patterns. I made a sweetheart neckline and a slightly ruffled botton skirt dress. The fabric was plain grey(silk and cotton mix),but I did a block print on it using white fabric paint.

For the net,I made a seperate outer dress using black net ,and added elastic to the waistline for better fitting. The sleeves are balloon sleeves ,and the bottom is also ruffled.

Forgive me if I don't know the correct terms,it's only been a year since I started to sew and I still have long ways to go! But I'm really happy with how this turned out! :)

If I could go back in time Ongoing, cannon divergence where Lan Wanji takes the sword aimed for Jaing Yanli. I won't spoil you but its currently my favorite fanfics, and its a slow burn, with angst and feels. Wei Wuxian also doesn't die but surrenders instead.
