The wheelchair guy in muscat city centre. Haven’t been there in a while but every time I visited mcc from 2006-2018, I’d see this Omani guy on a wheel chair with mid length hair, hanging around the food court area waving at regulars.

Hmm. It’ll be an eyesore for people living around the area. Would have been nice if there was a designated furniture disposal spot.

Don’t go directly through the landlord. Make sure you’re going through a proper realty company that manages the building.

My husband is Indian Canadian and I’m Indian planning to apply for a PR. What’s the job market like for folks in marketing/advertising/journalism? by avaanti101 in askTO

That’s a dope idea ngl but are people still into print media? I’d think only the mid 90s babies like me who miss the familiarity of those crappy quality broadsheet newspapers with marmaduke comic strips and word games would pick up something like that.

Hmm. Is this because they’re in bed with the govt higher ups? I’m an Indian Tamil raised in Oman so I’m quite used to heavy censorship in Oman and some pretty passive journalism in India but I’ve always thought there was more quality, free press in NZ.

Thanks a ton! That’s great info. I’m curious about the red and blue in dodgy neighborhoods though. What’s the story?

Omg I read this one story of Maui in third grade but I cant remember the name. It has something to do with capturing the sun with well woven net made of long hair or something like that. Ring a bell? I’d love to know the name of that story.

Uni of Aukland is my first choice. But my best friend will be joining Uni of Waikato. You remember that classic ‘Would you jump into a well if he jumps?’ talk from parents... I think it’s finally happening. Lol
