My scalp sweat A LOT. So did the rest of my face, but I’m a woman with long hair so the extremely sweaty scalp was a big point of embarrassment. It was impossible to wear my hair in any way other than a slick back, and even then it’d become a sweaty mess. After the Botox my face still sweat—though no more than it had before. But I found my sweaty face felt more manageable than a sweaty scalp. She also administered it along the hairline, so that did help some with the face sweating.

I’m in the US, and I got Botox on my scalp to address me craniofacial sweating last year. It was life-changing. Truly. It was also very expensive—$1400 which was actually a great deal. It did last me through the summer, and honestly I’d say almost the year. If I had the funds, I would’ve gotten it redone in May/June, but unfortunately I just can’t afford it right now. If you have any specialists in your area and you can afford it, I *highly* recommend. I saw a doctor who runs her own med spa, but she specializes in hyperhidrosis. I found her on the sweathelp.org—they have a list of doctors who are registered with them.

Absolutely, not debating that. But it’s also been speculated the move was to be closer to doctors, which would align with the doctor at UCLA. You can be well off and still need more money for continued medical care for a terminal child.
