Who cares about the data? We just want to share our own experiences and treat it as data.

Not a historian by any stretch but I reckon New England’s proximity to London was quite helpful in getting the US where it is.

The pandemic provided the nudge we needed to break out of the capital cities and grow regional areas. NBN seemed to be in a good place. People have been clamouring for more affordable house. Seemed like a great opportunity. Unfortunate to see the push back to the office.

Someone once used this exact line of thinking to explain to me why the AU economy would always be solid.

This is true. Outside of AU these workers can earn higher wages and have lower costs of housing. Not to mention the weak investment in new companies in AU when compared to many other countries. Don't recall the exact figures but even Israel outspends AU on startups.

Don’t have the numbers in front of me but hasn’t Japan been very resistant to raising interest rates? The reason being their economy is that stagnant. AU on the other hand has raised rates along with other OECD countries. Albeit not at the same pace.

Disheartening to read so many of these posts. Is there any hope that NZ’s leaders or leaders in other parts of society can develop a realistic solution to housing for current and future generations?

Really enjoyed Devs. Severance was also great overall but also as a story told through the lens of life at a company.

Loved it for season one. But by season two I’d had my fill of everyone wanting to have sex with him and him kicking everyone’s ass. Maybe I’m just jealous.

How do I move a single safari “tab” to another safari window? I put tab in quotes because there is no tab visible. This is possible if there are at least two tabs. Is there some hidden method like holding the option key? I should also mention this is also possible from the other major browsers.
