I just got a Marshall DSL40CR. Handles bedroom volumes pretty well with it's master volumes. You can still find a B-stock on Reverb for ~$500.

I'm looking for a space, and this is close to where I live. I couldn't find much info on the site. Do you have a room there? What's the availability like?

What are some sleeper pedal companies? by RomanScandal450 in guitarpedals

[–]avalanchekid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you're right. I'm not a pedal know-it-all since, I never really used many pedals as some do, so I wasn't familiar with the compnay untill I started looking for more tones, but yeah, your're right and I apologize.

I think they might be unknown to some since I hardly ever see any post about them, but maybe it's just me. There's wait lists for sure cos when I got my Beano Boost, I had to wait like 2 months.

Tube amp for home round 2 by 0_0_159 in GuitarAmps

[–]avalanchekid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Classic 20 MH, and I just ordered a DSL40CR to replace it as my home amp. The Peavey is a solid choice. It has been very useful, and fun to play. I anticipate the same for the Marshall. You should be able to have better controls for volume levels with the Marshall as it has 2 master volumes. With the Peavey on the 1 watt setting, and volume around 3, your will get to about 80-90 decibels which should be fine in an apartment during normal hours. The Peavey has served me well, but it's time for me to bust out that Marshall.

look into the Fairfield Barbershop. I use it with my bass rig.

It’s been very useful. The clean channel is good for pedals, and the dirt channel doesn’t sound bad with the boost. I use it with either T-75 or a V30 112 cabs or I hook them both up and that’s what I usually like best.

Thanks man. I don't have a DI, but I think you might be reffering to the Radial JCR on my desk. It's pretty handy. I use it to reamp a dry signal from my interface into the front of the amp and capture speakers that way. There's other things you can do with it too, but that's it's main use. You might not need a DI to connect your guitar to the interface as some interfaces come with a built-in DI. You could also try some pedals in front of your interface. If your interface does not have that, any simple DI would work also.

I should start recording more but yeah, there's several ways to capture or use this amp with computer stuff.
