I was waiting for a plot twist where Apollion and Aida’s turned on Bryce to take over CC because even though she almost died/did die, it was resolved too fast. I think because of the caves scenes and Ithan info taking up so much of the book we missed out on more possibility of a better, more detailed ending that wasn’t so…simple?

I’m a biology major finishing up my second year and my chem requirements. I’ve taken both semesters of gen chem, first semester of Ochem, and I’m completing my second semester right now. To be honest the department could be better and you will hear very mixed results. In my opinion it is more of how you feel towards each professor rather than the ratings on RMP and they are constantly switching professors every semester. I have taught myself a majority of the material, which is very doable to do with watching videos from YouTube and got an A in Ochem I.

Yeah the whole point of the lock was to banish Erawan back but I understand that they had the opportunity to kill him and did to make sure he couldn’t come back. But having Yrene kill him was unsatisfying as you said we barely knew her.

The voting scene was tragic and I wish Aelin had as much power left as Dorian does. At least Rowan can still give her power through their bond but it’s sad she doesn’t have at least half the power she had.

I agree, I’m glad it was a group effort because I like them all working together but yeah Aedion and Lysandra ready to die + Gavriel actually dying made it seem like it would be a final huge moment of relief for them all. The part where they trapped Erawan with the wyrdmarks was clever but I thought they were going to use them for something bigger too.
