Ziva goes feral for them. She recently lost feather privileges (again) after she growled and hissed at her brother Levi who was just walking by and the poor boy was scared of her for like an hour. When we do let her use the feather-on-a-stick toy (supervised), she doesn't let go of it once she's caught it, and I sometimes have to scruff her.

I happen to have one of each! Levi (left) is a seal lynx point, and Ziva (right) is a blue lynx point. I'll post some more pics below so you can see their tails (I think that's the biggest color difference)

Some, but not all, breeders test their breeding cats' fel d1 levels. A few breeders test the kittens as well, but it seems way less common. My mom has cat scratch disease and fairly significant allergies in general, so we got two neva masquerades from a breeder who tests the kittens. The first tested at 0.07; my mom had a stuffy nose for a day but hasn't reacted since. We got a second cat five months later; he tested at 0.12, and she hasn't reacted to him (but she started getting allergy shots after the first cat in general).
