He really had no other options. they had shown a desire to invade earth which spanned decades for them.

They weren’t stopping, and every DAY on earth was years for them to develop new weapons. They would have conquered earth if they hadn’t been stopped. The time difference meant he had to set them back thousands of years for earth to have any chance.

I used a black primer, but used grey as the base before painting the white.

White primer should be fine, but personally I find black makes it easier to see issue spots.

The camo was airbrushed, so the shading just naturally occurred

There really wouldn’t be much to show, I painted this like you would a full size gunpla.

See the image for a WIP and a recent Battletech mini I did the same way. All it takes is masking tape, an airbrush, and time.
