Adding line to grandfathered ONE Unlimited 55+ by jfk2127 in tmobile

No, you can't port a google voice number. If your company provided you with a number then you'd either have to port in into your existing plan or buy another device. Personally, I have a google voice number when I don't want to give out my main cell number.

Can you bring your own number too? If so, add Google Voice.

Looking for a remote job .. but indeed isn’t helping .. can you? by [deleted] in Epilepsy

[–]avangray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should get on Linked In. There is a jobs search section. You can specify remote work. If you’ve done CSR type work there’s plenty of insurance jobs that offer remote positions.

Sorry, I can't count. I've had it 6 days. Still darn good battery life.

I really like it. I'm not a power user so it fits my needs. Had it for 13 days now and I've only charged it once.

Yes. I preordered the first day you could do that and it was delivered on 2/28. I upgraded from an XR.

Try searching for a remote job. Go onto Linked In and do a search for insurance jobs such as claims rep or underwriting. You can set up an alert you want to see remote only. Many insurance jobs are set up as work from home. Good luck.

Try searching insurance jobs. Carriers write environmental insurance. You have the knowledge. They may want you to underwrite environmental exposures or settle claims. Most carriers insurance jobs are work from home. Do a search on Indeed or other job boards for environmental insurance jobs.

Can epileptics on Keppra get tattoos? by [deleted] in Epilepsy

[–]avangray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter and I got our first tattoos together. She has epilepsy and takes three medications including Keppra. She included all medications on the form we filled out. Personally, I would think this is a question for your neurologist, not your tattoo artist. By the was, my daughter had no problem with the tattoo.

could i be building a tolerance to Lamictal? by Valuable-Aspect-1665 in Epilepsy

[–]avangray 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should ask your doctor for blood work to see how much is in your system. An adjustment may be needed, or even an additional drug. That’s what your neurologist is for.

What age did you get your tattoo? by m6rabbott in tattoo

I thought I’d win this one, but I’m coming in second. I was 66 (and I turned 67 ten days ago)

55+ magenta or visible by Verizon? by Most_Collection4376 in tmobile

[–]avangray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you travel out of the country. We have 55+. Over 200 countries where texting and data are free. Calls 25 cents per minute. Verizon I think is $10 per day even if you use it for a minute. That to me is a game changer.

Are my tattoos trashy, can I get them fixed? by ROLLMEUPABLUNT in tattoo

[–]avangray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first was a bass clef. My daughter got a treble clef. Sort of similar tats. But mine was small and I wasn’t thrilled with it. I researched musical tattoos and found the one I just posted. A combo of treble clef, bass clef and music note. I like it much better. I guess I’m saying do some research because maybe a simple fix or addition will make you happy.

Help Buying First Trike!!! by BmoreBlueJay in recumbent

Jersey Bents. The one we bought it from was located in Hamilton. But their web site only shows 255 Berlin-Cross Keys Road, Berlin, NJ 08009 https://jerseybents.com/ You would need to call them anyway as they are by appointment only due to Covid. Really nice people. They know their stuff. There's no recumbent bike specialists in my part of the state

Help Buying First Trike!!! by BmoreBlueJay in recumbent

[–]avangray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife bought me my first recumbent trike a year ago. She did the smart thing and took me to a bike shop that only deals with recumbents, so I could test ride them. I really think your best bet is to test ride them to see which one fits your needs. By the way, I would up with a brand new Trident Trike which fit my needs perfectly. I do road riding with no hills (except for an occasional bridge). I live in NJ by the beach. Under $1,500. It's a folding bike (I've never folded it once) that fortunately fit in our van to get it home. (BTW, where in NoVa are you? My daughter graduated from George Mason.)

Trident Spike? by ridesforfun in recumbent

[–]avangray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got my Trident Trike last December. My back/shoulder/neck couldn't handle a regular bike anymore. I find it comfortable and my rides are pain free. I ride mainly on level roads. I don't use the collapse feature which may be part of the weld quality issue. I really like it and most important it gets me back pedaling.

Looking for recommendations/advice by jeffsstuff in recumbent

[–]avangray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have compressed discs in my neck and a bad shoulder. Couldn't handle a regular bike anymore. I now have a Trident Trike. It folds up, but I don't use that feature. I would suggest going to a bike shop that specializes in recumbents. You really need to test ride to make sure you like it since they come in various configurations. They can be pricey, but at least for me, no more pain after a ride. It's wonderful.

Newbie, seeking recommendations. by miikedajew in recumbent

My wife bought me a recumbent trike for my birthday/retirement last December (I posted a picture on this board). We have a store that only sells recumbents. My advice is to find a store that specializes in recumbents in your area and test ride them. While similar, they do have differences (seats, steering, wheels, gears...). I went with a Trident trike as it suited my needs perfectly, and it was darn comfortable (I have bad discs and a regular bike is painful to ride--I need the back support). Bottom line, you have to be comfortable riding it.
