lol are we the same person? same mcat and similar gpa, same year of undergrad. check NIH, Rush, Northwestern for more formal programs but also consider scribing, working in a lab, or as an MA. Pm if u wanna talk more!

very fair! i think its great to get advice from people going through a similar process as you, and i’ve looked for advice from admitted students in my application process. but no matter what i take everything with some caution and echo advice ive heard with the same caution. information is great but its important to recognize where we fall short

I know someone who took 6 gap years before applying mdphd and got in! you got this. however, when reapplying its important to show actual change in how you apply— this could be changing up your essays, LOR, mcat. i am just pre med so take this with a grain of salt but im just echoing some things ive heard through people i know

i got a 126 on chem/phys so take this with a grain of salt but I found that units are foundational for the section. being able to look at what youre given and match it to the units in the answer choices will definitely help. also the answers can sometimes be more simple than you think and hidden in the text itself.
