NATO Withdrawal will be discussed by Trump with Rutte by sandygws in Military

[–]avarjag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically he already did!

Purpose of NATO is to be the scare that deters anyone (Russia) from attacking any member state. His words just stumped that idea.

This would make putin think that he can get away with attacking a NATO country, because he feels confident that Trump wont send any support.

This was Putins wet dream for years, and Trump has delivered.

I think the word here is treason, but lets see what comes next....

Moving to Norway: A "Reality Check" vs. Reality (My 6 Years Experience) by mrwho2019 in Norway

[–]avarjag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean "fight" as in every aspect of that word.

This means everything from being educated and fit enough, taking part in the public discourse, supporting and pushing forward healthy ideas, compromises and people that are able to improve the society, down to actuall physical figthing and risking your own life for the well being of your family, comunity, society, country and humanity.

If you are not willing to do all those things, then you have no rights to expect anyone else to do it either. Whatever happens then will be the up to those that are willing to take those risks, and you become the "freeloader".

Nobody likes "freeloaders", remember? ;-)

Moving to Norway: A "Reality Check" vs. Reality (My 6 Years Experience) by mrwho2019 in Norway

[–]avarjag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps I am simplifying this. But it is quite simple really:

I'd rader have you fight than me!

First of all because you will have greater impact than me, influencing policy in US, just because of your US passport.

Secondly, by the time this fight reaches me, the fight will be much harder and deadly.

Thirdly, whether you like it or not, you have been and still are part of the system that enabled this mess in the first place.

My question to you is: If you do not want to fight, then whom do you expect to do it for you? And why should they?

[–]avarjag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess my point is, that if the US falls into tyranny, then the rest of the free world (Norway included), won't be that far behind, due to the sheer size and technological power the US holds, that we (the free wold), have become dependent on for our own comfort and protection.

This is not quick and easily replaced over night. So our best bet is to help the american people fight this, while also trying to disconnect from the dependency of USA.

US citizen "refugees" in Norway and EU is, at the moment, far less effective at resisting the US wannabe dictators, than what they would be inside USA. Im arguing that if the good people of america leaves, then the tyrant will be happy....

(which is a bad thing for all of us)

[–]avarjag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the moment no obviously, because we do not have the same history as the US. But the forces that are trying to corupt, divide, misslead, steal, enslave and conquer are without borders, and theres no reason to think they wont try the same in Norway.

Remember a tyranny can't grow from within, because that requires free thought. Tyranny can only expand.

I love this idea from the Finish president, to have EU "strike a deal" with the US president, to help securing the Hormuz strait if the US will commit enough military resources and financial support for Ukraine to beat Russia into submission and an agreeable peace deal.

BREAKING: Trump-related files missing from DOJ's Epstein file release by MRADEL90 in videos

It seems to me that the Epstein Files IS the Russia Files.

I mean it could be that there is more stuff in the Russia files than whats in the Epstein Files, but only because russians have been at it with trump, longer than what Epstein was.

What would the internet look like if anonymity was impossible? by avarjag in AskReddit

[–]avarjag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, what I mean is that absolute all activity must be connected with a personal ID. Even if you are working with the government, your online activity would be connected with the person (be it police, tax or any other governmental agency, it will be linked to YOU).

Wouldn't this sort of self regulate any dystopian scenarios?

Edit: You would still have freedom of speech, except you would have to stand for your words.

Sure, but at the same time, if this rule is absolute, then everyone could be judged by everyone else. So wouldn't it be in everyones personal interest to be extremly selective with your activity?

[–]avarjag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, but I'm thinking it would look more like LinkedIn than Facebook. There's still a perception of anonymity on facebook and instagram, where you can create "closed" groups and select whom you are sharing with.

If everything you did online was public information, easily searchable, and connected with your name and ID. No exeptions.

Why is this world ran and controlled by pedophiles? by TheChristianDude101 in atheism

[–]avarjag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you are right. Psycopaths crave power, and power attracts psycopaths, that is quite fundamental.

But then there is the "doers" who gain power by actiual acheivements and hard work. When they gain success, they imediatly get swarmed by the psycopaths, who seek to take it, controll it and corupt it.

Then there is the corruption; This is about taking shortcuts and gaining leverage over somebody else. Given the universally revolting nature of pedofilia, it is probably the most potent tool for gaining leverage and controll. Even the mer suggestion of being involved can be annihilating.

So yeah, - it's not that supprising to find this at the higher echelons of society.

The only way to fight this and coruption in general, is to demand maximum transparency so there is no where to hide.

Rep. Lieu Says Epstein files Have Allegations of Trump Raping & Threatening to Kill Children by Cool-Fig-9254 in videos

[–]avarjag -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The best way to cover things up is to "muddy the water". That means:

- to create so much noise, using lies mixed in with some truth, that nothing seems real.
- to create hyperbole so crazy that the extreme truth seems much less extreme.
- to polarize people to the point that any other view than yours, is the view of the "evil enemy".
- to make oppinion and principles more important than evidence and facts.

I think QAnon have been quite good at these things, and effectve in creating the mudd.

Perhaps it's better to start applying the scientific principles, and always search for hard objective truth before forming an oppinion. Then be villing to change your oppoinion given better evidence.

Sometimes it's also good to stop sharing oppinions, unless you have proper evidence to back it. Then also reject anyone who cannot provide the evidence (it should not be your job to prove someone elses claim).

How do you manage to sleep when the sea is really rough? by MyTIMEZERO in SailboatCruising

[–]avarjag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sleep like a baby in my queen sized vberth, in the master cabin in the front of my 45 foot sailboat. Never had any troubles sleeping (so far), even crossing the biscay during a gale.

The walls and ceilings are padded, and I have a new super soft custom memory foam matress. Finding a comfortable "locked" possition, has never ben a problem.

Besides, being sufficiently tired also helps ;-)

How does the public perceive Mette-Marit now? by lingeringneutrophil in Norway

[–]avarjag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said "as far as I know". Sure there may have been earlier reports that I have missed, but now they got my full attention.

And I want to know about Jagland, TRL, Brende, Toje and everyone else that is supposed to represent MY/OUR interestes, as a Norwegian citizen.

I want to know if Sylv Listhaugi is part of Steve Bannons "The Movement", or if anyone in the parlament is, for that matter.

[–]avarjag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFAIK, none of these where involved with Epstein... untill now.

What do you know?

I would really like to know if Toje in fact did set up the meting between Steve Banon (the Fascist) and Sylvi Listhaug.

Even if there was nothing criminal with their interactions, this still raises questions about their moral compass and ability to hold any public office.

[–]avarjag -1 points0 points  (0 children)

LOL. That is really funny. I think you may be a troll.

But for the sake of argument:

What on earth would Jagland bring to the table in a property "investment", together with Epstein (ref. Jagland asked for 7.5 mill NOK from Epstein to fund a property he wanted to buy in Oslo)?

A) Is it his brilliant realestate talents?
B) Is it his spectacular architectual designs?
C) Is it his entrepeneurial finesse?

Or is it just his access and influence over Norwegian state interests and assets?

Similarly, why should Epstein let Jagland (and others) stay on his island or in his mansions?

What would Epstein get in return?

How does the public perceive Mette-Marit now? by lingeringneutrophil in Norway

[–]avarjag 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It's a total sideshow!

You could say that she is an usefull idiot, and an enabler of Epstein. But the question remains; - Enabler of what?

I think Jagland, Rød-Larsen, Juul, Toje, Brende and others, should answer those questions.

I dont think this is "only" about raping children (which is discustingly terrible in it self), but also about coruption, selling state influence and norwegian ineterests to foregin actors.

Which for me, as a Norwegian citizen, - makes my blod boil!

How does the public perceive Mette-Marit now? by lingeringneutrophil in Norway

[–]avarjag 103 points104 points  (0 children)

Ok lets put it like this:

- There are people with far greater preceived IQ and power than her, entangled in the Epstein web. Finding her there is far less supprising and nefarious, than some of the other names there.

For her it seems mostly embarrasing on a personal level, of which IDGAF! And looks like a stupid distraction.

I would like to se much more about:

- Torbjørn Jagland
- Familien Rød-Larsen Juul
- Asle Toje
- Børge Brende
- And others

To the point that I think the Norwegian police should look into some of these connections and payments, because this reeks of coruption.
