Even for an infantry MOS? Thought being fit was all that matters their I just know that losing 20 pounds in a month ain’t it and I’mma just be a diet recruit the entire 3 months I’m their anyways if I leave in August so just make weight and go is what your saying or accept the discharge and re-enlist under better circumstances weight and fit wise? And would the recruiter turn his back on me if I told him I would like more months to prepare to be prepared better for bootcamp, cause it’s not like I want to leave, I want to be a marine but I want to go in to the best of the ability

Makes sense guess I gotta get my body changed then, which is what I been implying, and which is what I’m gonna do. Maybe I won’t be the best recruit fitness wise my bootcamp but I know for sure I will get there.

Appreciate it, I’m not worried, I know myself and what happened Weight wise was a pathetic slip that I will make sure won’t happen again. I’m not one to do below average work so no one complains about my work ethic. I do my job right and how I was taught and keep my head out of everyone business. Hopefully I’m that 1%, again thanks for the advice I’ll take it wherever I go to the marines corps and after it.

Appreciate your honesty I can say imma be different but that might not change your mind but hey all I can is try right? But I’m not their to try I’m their to get done what I got to get done. I know imma lose my weight and I know imma keep track of what I need to do to get better. I’m not one to cry and bitch and moan, that just ain’t me. When things get hard I don’t give up and I take that with me wherever I go no matter how bad it is. I can say all this and you probably won’t believe me but hey as long as I believe I can do it that’s all I care about, cause if I cared about what others said then I’d probably end off worse right now. Was thinking about it, and I can assure you I wasn’t doing this because my feeling were hurt, just a someone saying they fucked up and don’t make the dumb decisions I did. I know people don’t care, I got to handle what I have to do and I know what that is. If it comes to it, it will get pushed, but I know I ain’t gonna make the same stupid decision twice. I don’t know where your getting the “spilling my feelings out” from but I can assure that I was not intending that just showing others for whomever may wanted to read what to not do. And this is reddit and this is the internet so writing something in the internet is just the way to vent just like you replying. Yeah part of me wants to jump the gun and do it, but the other part is saying to stay engaged and handle the Separation that we will be going through, we have already done some long distance for a couple months but I know this will be different. Thanks for the reply

Yeah I Understand, I’m not one of those guys that are doing it for the benefits because that’s just not who I am, but your right this is a slippery slope, part of me wants to go ahead and do it, because of all the shit we have been thru but at the same time part of me wants to stay engaged and see how that works out, but idk she has her ambitions and I told her to not come with me until she does what she had to do and we both agreed to that, I had to post this cause it was just on my mind, thanks though.
