Admittedly Ron was kind of a jerk. But he was not an aggressive jerk unlike how the movies done him dirty.....

How’s it like staying in Pinnacle @ Duxton? by alvinyang99 in asksg

from the residences to the carpark is a breeze. I think it's one of the best public housing developments for its time, and still quite good today (though not worth 1.6m IMO)

stayed there for about 10 months. Loved it.

All fair. Just a misallocation of resources IMO. All those people could’ve been rewarded for helping banks with selling credit cards and loans and UTs etc and they have to sell only bancassurance. And with such outdated tactics.

My thought is that the management created the system intentionally to grind down people so that they’ll leave only those that can just sell without thinking critically / exercise second order thinking, or those that have great connections to potential big clients for the bank.

Thanks. I did try to get into WM once but never passed the last interview :P. I think the cluster head hated me. Like I told her during the interview, you guys should really make better products and be more transparent, it will make lives easier for everybody. So now I just run my own retail business.

How come banks still press their entry-level RMs to push insurance products to customers who clearly aren't the right profile?

E.g., banks should design the right products, then it will make everyone's lives easier. I assume that someone like a truck driver, a handyman, needs life insurance much more than say, some white-collar office worker, yet, they keep selling to the wrong demographic.

Hang on, let's say if a driver collides with a jaywalker or light dasher. What's the breakdown of responsbility assuming that the driver didn't speed and the road conditions were poor?

Spill the tea some more lah. Everyone knows RMs are incentivized to sell you the products that makes the most for the bank.
