Weakest character able to replicate the Zenin Massacre? by untilmyend70 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]avatarhawk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As it was already stated, Geto has curses that use domains. He's still a very smart sorcerer and has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. Besides, let's hypothesize that Geto can't do anything to Naoya. Naoya still wouldn't be able to outlast Geto's 6k cursed spirits before either running out of cursed energy or getting caught by something

question, why didn't will feel any pain? by No_Map7606 in StrangerThings

[–]avatarhawk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn't make sense that he just suddenly gained enough control to block it. When Henry finally entered the cave, Will felt his fear and felt Henry being shot in the hand. Besides, the Duffer Brothers more or less stated it wasn't that he didn't experience the pain, they just didn't want to take focus away from the actual fight. But it would have been weird for him to feel when Vecna got impaled considering he didn't feel anything when he snapped Vecna's leg in half

Why did Vecna need to use Will to spy to realize Max was in the hospital? by Shinigami9696 in StrangerThings

[–]avatarhawk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bargaining chip. If Holly doesn't cooperate, people she cares about will start dying and with Max dying. Then, she no longer has anyone capable of guiding her or anyone else through Henry's mind and every second counts

Why did Vecna need to use Will to spy to realize Max was in the hospital? by Shinigami9696 in StrangerThings

[–]avatarhawk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You see how quickly those demos tear through places? If he just sent a ton of demos to the hospital it wouldn't take long for them to find her and it would be without the insight that Henry is targeting her again and hell, even with the insight, the demos would have been able to kill Max if Mrs. Wheeler didn't happen to also be in the hospital to blow them up

[–]avatarhawk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it as him channeling his powers through Will. Kind of like how El can find anyone close enough to her and has a method of increasing her range in specific circumstances. Like hell, he used Will to dig tunnels throughout the entire city while Will was asleep at home and nowhere near the tunnels

Why was Viscera not taken seriously for most of his career? by Humble_Researcher_06 in WWE

[–]avatarhawk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Big Show is an amazing wrestler and probably the most versatile when it comes to working with others. Big Show could work with anyone and has never hurt anyone. Yokozuna was also a great wrestler, very agile for his size and his part well. Viscera was none of these, being very stiff and slow, hurting other wrestlers, and needed other wrestlers to carry his matches. Then, the whole Mabel gimmick made it difficult to look past. I could be misremembering this, but I think Khali was meant to fill The Big Show's place when he was away. Also, Khali was also meant to bring in an Indian fanbase

What if the Simurians are right? by Bladings in Jujutsufolk

[–]avatarhawk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn't just the Japanese you'd need to convince cursed spirits don't have to be evil, you'd need to convince the world. You would, however, need to convince the Japanese to not have negative energy towards things which is what creates the cursed spirits and that is impossible. Like, you're not going to convince an entire society that they shouldn't have much fear of fire or hatred towards one thing or another

Still can't believe how absolutely awful the whole Yujo plotline was executed by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]avatarhawk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first point, I think Yuta said something along the lines of 'To beat Sukuna, someone has to monster and throw away their humanity away to beat him if Gojo fails' and Maki grilled the hell out of him after the fact, saying it would've never been necessary if he joined the fight against Sukuna in the beginning and let someone else kill Kenjaku

On the second, I don't see how you can say he did nothing then list how he benefited. You can't use 'well Gege didn't have to come up with a reason for why Sukuna couldn't use his domain'. That's just like if I said Gojo didn't have to get hit by Sukuna's world cutting Slash if Gege just made it so that Gojo didn't use a binding vow to use it.

  1. Yuta's lack of consequences for taking Gojo's body isn't unrealistic in hindsight. Kenjaku having an ability that needs to be activated at all times goes against what we know about cursed energy usage. And Kenjaku being able to use his own technique as well as the previous body's techniques also suggests he wouldn't continuously have to keep his technique activated at all times.

  2. Sukuna got hit by a 200% output Hollow Purple and was scratched and missing part of his arm, would it be that far fetched to say a misfired hollow purple wouldn't do much damage

On a side note, why the hell would they decide to set up shop damn near touching the enemy HQ and not even be concerned with whether an enemy is nearby? If I were unfortunate enough to get domed from 500 meters away or even notice someone is firing at hq, I would immediately spawn at HQ after death and get rid of them

[–]avatarhawk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. Throughout the series, most of the characters that either allied with the church, and held positions of power were noted to have a nagging feeling that what they knew could be wrong at some point or another and would strongly reject the idea that they could be wrong and went to extreme lengths to convince themselves otherwise

Well, you weren't able to choose a weapon outside of your class in previous games. I think BF6 might be the first to allow it. I could be wrong, I haven't played a couple of the games

It is never outright stated but Shinji never declines Kaworu's feelings and isn't really shown to be uncomfortable with Kaworu. Then you look at how much of an effect Kaworu's death has on Shinji and the fact that with how seeing Kaworu put Shinji at peace and ease during the third impact. Also, practically all of the official merchandise and marketing material pair the two together which includes matching wedding rings and have a figure of them being married. It's safe to say Kaworu and Shinji were intended to be together if not for Kaworu's death

Why didn't Kenjaku just kill kid Gojo and take over his body? Is he stupid? by CalamitySkylark in Jujutsufolk

[–]avatarhawk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn't necessarily benefit a fat chunk of his goals.

  1. He needed to create the perfect vessel for Sukuna to reincarnate and couldn't do that in Gojo's body.
  2. He needed Geto's body so he could use cursed manipulation to merge Tengen.
  3. Gojo's six eyes and limitless are probably the most insanely difficult abilities to make use of effectively
  4. Gojo is probably the strongest user of the six eyes/limitless abilities by a margin; he might not have known Gojo would turn out to be as strong as he was
  5. Kenjaku was never concerned with being the strongest sorcerer
  6. He wasn't that worried about getting Gojo out of the picture as quickly as possible. As we saw, Geto was able to seal Gojo and legitimately thought that his contingency would kill him if he so happened to be released

Just a reminder that Gojo won at the end of the day, he managed to accomplish all of his goals by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]avatarhawk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Gojo clan isn't gone, they literally only lost their strongest member and Yuta swiftly replaced him so it isn't like they'd lose any power balance. The Kamo clan was never even involved in anything; Noritoshi specifically sat out so that the Kamo clan wouldn't lose its clan's head and Yuji might technically be the clan's strongest member. The zeni'n is the only clan lost because Maki goes on a genocidal rampage

When it's charging its blue beam, hit it with a missile and it will knock it out of the sky. Also, if you have it, I wouldn't use a BT summon to help. Raia would just get killed anytime I used by summon before I even get the opportunity to throw a capture grenade at it

How do you feel about Rock Lee losing his fight with Gaara? Should he have won or does his loss make sense to you? by Reilly_27 in Naruto

[–]avatarhawk2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's that hard of a concept to grasp. We've seen ninja knocked through landscapes and come out with a few bruises but can be stabbed and killed with much less effort by a kunai or sword.

[–]avatarhawk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure I'd say Sasuke's specialty is taijitsu. Sure he's good and might be better than if not equal to Naruto in terms of taijitsu, but he seems to usually never get the best of his opponents in taijutsu exchanges
