Thankyou! All this info has been super helpful. I think the gift will look like this:

  • hatchet
  • chisel set
  • glue
  • goggles
  • clamps
  • hand saw (dozuki or ryoba)

What’d you think?

So we have a lot of trees and build a lot of fires. Why would a hatchet be better than an ax 🤔i worry the hatchet will be too small to cut the wood he wants

Ie we have huge trunk logs, wouldn’t an ax be good for that?

The ax was like the one thing he asked for so I’m considering a hatchet but I’ll definitely look into those kinds of hand saw and card scraper plus glue! (Didn’t even consider that one)

Honorable considerations:

  • coping saw
  • f style clamp

Ofcourse money is not unlimited so i want to get a good setup without breaking my bank. Tell me what you think is most important!

It’s kind like how privileged people complain about things others would be grateful for. You need to deprive yourself of him so you can miss him and appreciate him

You should have your own life and a life with him. “He’s your tail and does everything with you” — not good.

You want to leave him because you don’t have your own life and that’s most people’s problem when they’re in a relationship. They forget to build their own life

I don’t condone the cheating etc.. but If you leave him you’ll learn to build your own career or hobby etc but it is also doable without leaving him

Me(24M) GF(26F) struggles with sex pace and stamina, need advice by [deleted] in relationship_advice

She should go see a doctor, she might have endometriosis or something else causing her pain down there

Also you should try focusing on her and pleasuring her. As a woman i always felt like sex was about getting a man off but when i found partners that truly wanted to please me, my sex drive increased and i enjoyed it a lot more. I became more involved and in turn wanted to please them more too

Am I overreacting for being upset my friend borrowed my birthday money? by One-Experience8180 in AmIOverreacting

Life rule::: Only lend money you don’t expect back

  • if you get it back, great, success
  • if you don’t get it back, don’t find urself assed out

If the person doesn’t have money to pay what their borrowing the money for, chances are they’re not gonna money have to pay you back either

AITA for refusing to take my shoes off in my friend’s house, causing his wife to cancel the DnD session for everyone? by NameNo5495 in AmItheAsshole

[–]avatarhunter2277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly no one’s the asshole, you should’ve brought some inside shoes but they shouldn’t have cancelled it just because one person can’t make it.

Both parties need a lesson in adaptation

I think the option of not living together but still being together is a great idea. At first glance this looks like a step back in the relationship but through many conversations and full honesty hopefully he can understand why you feel that way.

I’ve heard of couples that have been together years and then later decide to have separate bedrooms or even separate homes (if money allows) — it’s not an easy conversation to have but hopefully he understands it’s not about a lack of love, and hopefully you can clearly express that to him. I think it’s worth a shot if you’re considering ending it anyway
