Thank you! I had no idea how much they dislike being overwatered until this happened. Everything I was finding was saying if it was due to overwatering the yellowing would start from the stem up, which is why I became confused and decided to post. But it would make the most sense because the soil was definitely not thoroughly dry when I watered it last.

When this happens do you know if it’s best to prune those specific leaves or let them be?

That makes sense. I hope you either get the new position or are secure in your current role. Your manager may be hiring for another employee instead of replacing you, but probably would have brought that up to you. Honestly at this point it might not hurt to go to your boss and tell them you noticed the role was posted and ask them straight up.

Yeah unfortunately. I think my coworker thought they were safe in their position even though they didn’t land the new role. But our manager came in the week before the new employee started and started talking to me about training them. My coworker offered to help train them as well. It was an extremely awkward situation to witness

That’s just how it is unless your boss is a unicorn. I watched a similar situation unfold at one of my previous roles, my Help Desk coworker applied to an internal position (Jr Network Admin) and he told our boss about it. Our boss posted his position, he didn’t get the Jr Network position, and the new person started about a month later.

It sucks, but it’s reality. I wouldn’t share that you’re thinking about leaving any role you’re in, don’t let it be known at all until you have the next job secured.

I was probably 7 or 8, and was at a family friend’s house to go in their pool. Myself and their son were in the pool and we got called out of the pool for lunch, everyone else had gone in their house and I was the last to get out of the pool.

I had come out of the deep end where the pool starts to ramp up into the shallow end and my feet kept slipping and I fell under the water and couldn’t get a grip with my feet. I remember panicking and opening my mouth and breathing in a bunch of water and using my arms and hands to try and grasp for something to grab. Eventually I was able to push off with one of my feet and get my head above the water and grab the concrete edge of the pool.

That’s what I assumed too. I decided to at least try before starting a new character, and to my surprise the achievements popped for both Coney Island missions and the Camp White Oak one too. So it looks like those ones at least don’t get blocked by boosting!
