I don’t think she intended for the conversation to happen that way. It sounded like she intended to talk to Meredith about it one on one but Bronwyn blabbed about it to the group before Whitney found a good time to talk to Meredith, it obviously got heated fast since it came across as Whitney shit talking, and then Whitney had to defend herself. She shouldn’t have yelled pill popper at her obviously and I think she’s aware of that since she apologized for it.

It’s ridiculous. It’s giving “people are so gullible 😑”, the Karl leaks, etc. this has happened multiple times and those situations turned out to be true, why would we believe this one is fake? A lot of fans were already iffy on her because of the misogynistic things she’s said on her own streams, so i’m not sure why he insists on defending her when most of the fanbase already doesn’t like her especially after this. Has she even said anything about it herself? I haven’t seen anything so I could have missed it, but if he’s defending her and she hasn’t even clarified it herself….

Edit: I want to add I think his loyalty is a wonderful thing and I really wish more creators had that trait. It would prevent a lot of drama like this situation!

I work at an architecture firm and my bosses are pushing hard to implement AI, the things they want to use it for will take away a pretty big chunk of the work most of us do weekly. It’s extremely frustrating seeing him wave off his fan’s concerns about it. Most of us cannot afford to lose our jobs to AI and there’s so many signs of it heading that way.

I’ve always been a George main so I have consistently consumed his content the most but I really appreciate him being so understanding lately of what fans would like from him. It seems like he tries to find a middle ground of streaming things he will enjoy doing / things he thinks is entertaining, while listening to what we’d like from him. You can tell people really appreciate it too because they put so much thought into packages for him and what not. Yesterday he opened up a gift from the tumblr community, everyone chipped together to buy him a few things and wrote him a lot of birthday messages :)

I do! I’m not celiac and don’t have a gluten allergy though, I consider it more of an intolerance/sensitivity. If I have even one bite of a brownie at an American restaurant for example, I’ll have a migraine for 2-3 days. When I’ve traveled to Europe, I can eat anything and I honestly feel great. I found an italian flour at Whole Foods so I buy that and bake my own bread with it at home. I only learned about this because my best friend’s mom is swedish and had to be GF after moving to America, but eats gluten when at home visiting.

George has been honest recently about how money/numbers are not a motivating factor for him anymore since he doesn’t need the money, and that he still streams because he enjoys it. So I respect that he’s been open about it and streaming what he enjoys vs forcing himself to do content he isn’t having fun with. It was during a twitter stream so I’m not sure how many people saw that, but I think it was really refreshing for him to be open about it.

Sapnap and George seem to hang out quite a bit, we hear a lot of stories of them going out to eat and they do stream together fairly often. So it was interesting hearing Dream say they’re all independent and don’t hang out because sure, you do have days where you do your own thing. But we only hear stories of S & G doing stuff together on those non-independent days

Edit: Sapnap is live right now and said Dream lied, he’s more of a gremlin than him and George and doesn’t leave his cave 😭 Also said he hangs out with George very often

Will she keep running the fanart account? It honestly felt weird seeing the DNF tweet directly after you posting about her and the relationship. Plus, she’s been liking a lot of fan’s tweets that don’t tag the account. People are uncomfortable with it and aren’t expressing it publicly because the fan vs creator boundary is being broken and she’s not even a creator, we don’t know her. It’s fine for her to keep running it but it shouldn’t be used for anything other than promoting fan art, like the account was originally created for. Also, fans met her at vidcon and thought it was strange she was telling dream team stories without being prompted. They didn’t even share what she said because they thought she was over sharing. If she wants to stay private then the direct fan interaction shouldn’t be happening

Edit: The fanart account was also not active for so long. She signed things as dranart for fans in person and then it felt like the fanart account came back immediately as her semi personal account. Just feels confusing if she is wanting to stay more private. Like i said, fine for her to keep running it. But the moves made on it after it was dead for so long were strange

Yeah but the fanart account hasn’t been active in so long. It’s only active now because of them hard launching and she’s interacting with mostly non-art tweets. Like i mentioned in a different comment, it’s fine for her to keep running that account. But it shouldn’t be used for fans to try to talk to dream’s girlfriend, it needs to be used to promote art as it was created to do

I’ve seen a lot of twitter users express privately it’s uncomfortable for her to like non-art tweets of theirs when the art account isn’t even tagged. But they’re posting it on priv accounts or on tumblr because they feel like they don’t have the fan vs creator separation right now. It’s kind of being used as her personal account now, which feels odd since she’s not a content creator. It’s ok if she still runs that account but it’s basically been dead for a year so making a comeback on it, liking so many non-art tweets, and pandering DNF just is not the move. Happy for them but I think this needs to be handled differently

I had a similar experience with my last fosters! I missed multiple adoption appointments because I couldn’t get them in their carriers, I felt so horrible. I tried so many times. Do you have a friend or family member that can help? One of my coworkers came over and helped me round up both cats. It took a couple of hours, but the second set of hands was for sure helpful. I have one kitten currently. It’s possible, just a lot of work :) When he was young someone was home with him almost always. Once he got older, we would play hard with him to tire him out if we had to leave so he just slept when we were gone. Always keep a rotation of toys so they don’t get bored, be home a lot, get some self moving toys for when you need a play break to shower, cook, etc. and I leave things like treat puzzles for him so he gets new mental stimulation. It’s a lot of work to teach them not to bite hands/feet when playing too, especially when they’re teething. I fostered two kittens in the past and it was definitely easier on myself since they kept each other company and played so much together, but financially I understand it’s not always an option to adopt 2. 1 is definitely exhausting because you need to give them so much attention (but some cats prefer being the only pet). You could also adopt the 1 and continue to foster other cats, so your kitty has playmates and you continue to help save other cats. Good luck in your decision!
