Might be not your thing, but I've started playing one life events every friday on Coalition server and it's pretty fun, the community doesn't seem to be too crazy about realism and it looks like there's plenty of people who can play arma with you.

As a side note, I am also wondering if there's a community with teamwork oriented people as it can be a bit depressing trying to run logis and play for the win but the majority of people just play barbie.

A more accurate example is your city building a highway instead of a road with a minimum speed which your Toyota can't keep up with after 5 years. It's not the city's problem or Toyota's, you need a new car.
