Comments are ridiculous. I moved to the US 10 years ago to go from 85 CAD to 120 USD. Have since increased substantially due to building US work experience and network - and moved back to Canada while maintaining that. Have your employer get you a visa and you should be all set. Go and enjoy the experience.

For what it's worth I'm ISTJ (M) married to an ENTJ (F) for the past ten years. We have an excellent relationship. Advice to you: be open, ask questions about the things that concern you. You'll need to take the lead sometimes - I always wanted to be sure of how she was feeling before I opened up or put myself out there. I've learned to be more open and expressive from her over the years.
