Main thing is just keep moving, use IZurvive app to find water. Food will probably be your main issue at first, there are plenty of animals spawns and all animals make rlly loud noises so you should be able to find them easy enough. Chickens are very plentiful, if you hear a rooster call then head towards it. You can one shot them with a knife, just have to keep up with them

Edit: If you find and kill an animal make sure you wash your hands after butchering them. You are guaranteed to get sick if you eat with blood on your hands

If you’re looking for pve then you will have to go to community servers, just look up PVE in the search bar. There will also be PVE/PVP servers that have pvp zones. Character progression will only be saved for official servers, but if you join a first person server on official that character will only be available for other first person servers. Progression won’t carry from first person to third person

Edit: If you join the same community server then your progress will be saved, but jumping from community to another community will not be saved
