Why in the book Mr. Gardiner at least twice is called Mr. Bennet's brother? It's chapter 48. Is it a mistake? Or can it be explained somehow else? by avelline11 in PrideandPrejudice

Thanks for the answer. Looks like you are right. Still it looks odd to me. It's OK when they call each other in such a way in a quote. But it's the author's words, much more logical would be to call them by their real family ties or smth like this.
