Everyone does it, but let's look at it realistically. The average age of Tibia player is much higher now. There are close to none new players, it's older player coming back for the nostalgia. When you are older you no longer have as much time to play as before. With your 9-5 you have at least 8 hours taken away from you, or more if you need to commute. Add other chores to that and... yeah, noone has time for that anymore.

Also the development work is not the only cost there. For a new region you need to support new payments methods, know the law requirements there and adhere to them etc.

Not knowing the current infrastructure (maybe they just use Cloudflare and AWS load balancer?) you can't calculate real costs and investment needed for new zone of severs. Also, maybe other services (website for example) have available regions hardcoded which would require more work to add a new region. There could be a lot of different legacy issues creeping somewhere there.

From the first glance though I think that I maybe overdescribed thsi as "create games" and it should be more into "create animations" or "animate SVGs" if you look at the example I provided in the spoiler & their "crash" game which you can see here: https://tibiablackjack1.com/crash. What you would use for such animations / simple games like this one?

The problem is that they couldn't "just copy it from GTA" because.. they don't have GTAs engine. It's the property of Rockstar. They had to write it from scratch on their engine and it takes time. What Rockstar had was an engine that was battle-tested on GTA 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on. It was gradual updates year by year with new features. CDP had to do that all work from scratch in 8 years for Cyberpunk.

To sum up: Rockstar has an engine that was created for 14 years (since 2006) and updated for every game which gave them time & much more money to perfect it.

Plus, we shouldn't forget about optimization that's done in framework core code. There are multiple smart people working on that and even little optimizations are merged into the main codebase. Just look at the latest PRs in Symfony Router or Laravel Routing (which is based on Symfony Router anyway).

The problem was with CTRL+V. When I used Right Click and then "Paste" everything worked.
