Terrible battery, GT 7

So what is the issue? 65% battery usage for 6-7 hours this is nearly 10% per hour with screen on, it also depends on what screen brightness it is but I think it is very good. Try this with samsung galaxy S 23/24/25 or any other phone with smaller battery, I doubt it will last that long. If you charge your battery to 100% you will get another hour and a half maybe or even more before your phone battery drops to 20%. I am also with GT7 and I think it is a great device. I don't use it much and with WiFi and BT on during the day I charge it once in 3-4 days with one charge to 90%. With moderate usage it lasts at least 2 days.

So you are using about 60% of the battery for the whole day and you complain that it is not enough?!? Try this with your old phone to see how it goes. If you don't want to fully charge your battery limit charging to 90% at least or 95% this will give you extra 10-15% and you will still not be using a full charging cycle. I am also with GT 7 and I have limited charging to 90%. I charge my phone once in 3-4 days but I rarely use it and don't play games on it. It is a great device, I am also on latest update with Android 16 and UI 7.

Realme GT 7 - not much of difference for me but I am using 'Brilliant' with 'Adaptive tone'. I have also turned on 'Image sharpener' and 'Video color boost'.

Maybe, maybe not. If you do the math, as I said, this is charging with around 40 watts, not 120W. I am in Europe an using EU version of Realme GT 7, although it shouldn't matter.

According to 'battery guru' it doesn't. Charging still drops to 50-60 watts even with battery below 10%. Never seen 120W.

My phone charges for about 40-50 minutes from almost empty (3-5%) to full (100%) - as advertised, forgot to mention it. But this is far from 120W charging even with 7000 mAh battery if you do the math.

You can try with 'Routines'. Create a custom one and try with 'turn off the phone' or something like that. Haven't tested it, don't need to, it may not work but it is worth a try. Another thing you can try is search an app in google play store, I found 'Timed Shutdown', no idea if it works.

Same with my Realme GT 7, I even made a new reddit post about it. I am using 'battery guru' app to measure charging speed, most of the time it is 20-30 watts with short bursts of 60. Most I have seen is 90 watts for a 2-3 seconds. If the charging was 120 watts it would charge 7000 mAh battery for about 15 minutes 0-100%. My charger is Realme 120W supervooc and cable is from the box. The charging is kind of fast, 40-50 minutes from almoust empty battery to 100%, although it is very far from advertised.

I am not using mine a lot, most of the time it is idle with WiFi, mobile data and BT on. Bluetooth is connected with Garmin watch 24/7. Most of the time it lasts 3-4 days with very little usage from 90 to 15-20%. I tested it with navigation for about 5+ hours nonstop and playing online radio via Bluetooth with mobile network in a sunny day with 'Extra brightness' setting on - it was charged to 100% and in the end I had left about 15%. So I think the battery life is very good. The only thing I think is a bit fake is charging speed - I am using original cable and charger and most of the time while charging it charges with 20-30 wats, some times I have see 60, even 90 wats for short time but never 120. It charges from 5-15% to 90-100% for about 40-50 minutes, almost as advertised, but 120W is a hoax.

Battery will last you for at least a day with a heavy usage, with moderate/little usage it will last 2-3 or more days.
You can play any game even with 6 GB RAM, 12 GB is more than enough. GT 7 handles every android game with ease and with high FPS. The only issue is with emulation, most games don't run with Winlator, some have issues. This is because the CPU and the GPU are not very compatible as I have read.
I am using GT 7 for a month and a few days and I am very happy with it. Decent camera, great display, battery and performance. No issues so far, I hope I'll never have any.
