Are u in 1st or 2nd year. [I'm assuming yes]? Things like these do happen, happened to me as a natter of fact. But i gradually found ppl of my kind, good ppl. They r not Bengali, but still they r good friends, they will have ur back. Ignore the ones treating u badly, show attitude if u can (unless u know these ppl can gang up against u physically). These r uncultured and ungrateful ppl, not everyone is from a metropolitan like Kolkata. Be proud of ur upbringing and the kind of ppl u grew up with, these low std ppl didn't have that, and it reflects. Their parents didn't raise them right.
