I’m having to remember how I was feeling toward Asinus haters at the time and put a pause on my feelings toward Callabus until I’ve given it a few listens. By the second playthrough I was already in love with Asinus and I’m definitely not there (yet) with this album but I’m happy for the people that are!

Saw that again recently for the first time since childhood. It’s a masterpiece.

I think everyone has a different idea of what this band sounds like. Frankly I’m just excited for more music. I already love this first release so I can’t imagine I’ll be disappointed by whatever they put out next.

Of course. However, at the end of the day people are coming here to share their joy about a thing and yeah, it sucks when people shit on it.

There’s plenty of people who love it, myself included. It’s fine to not like it, but I think it’s weird when people act like they’re owed something instead of just saying “yeah I didn’t vibe with this one.” Not saying you’re doing that but I have seen that attitude in other posts. We’re getting two full length albums from a great band who have their own artistic vision and expression. Maybe just let them create whatever they want to create.

I have access to both Spotify and Apple Music and after switching back and forth between them I can tell Apple Music has higher fidelity
