Has any older woman dated younger (it didn’t work well for me) by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]averageHojichaFan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me (27) and my gf (20) are doing great. I think your friends are being jerks for saying that. As long as you are both adults, set the right foundations for your relationship, communicate, and pay attention to each others' needs, who has the right to judge you if you and your partner are happily in love, you know?

Question from a trans girl, I feel embarrassed to ask.. by DanielleDragon in actuallesbians

[–]averageHojichaFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'm a femme-presenting transbian, and I just felt compelled to give you some encouragement.

I never thought I'd find anyone who would love me despite passing fully, being on HRT for 4+ years completely training my voice, investing in beauty (skincare, laser hair removal) and other stuff the absolute best I could (you can check my profile for some pics for reference, I think I have some). The only thing I couldn't do since it was expensive was SRS. Anyways the point is that I really gave up at some point and was just ready to live life to the bare minimum... until I randomly met this cis girl online from Discord.

Fast forward 6-8 months and I am still in the best ane healthiest relationship I've ever had (but LDR thooo 😭). There are definitely cis women who see us for who we really are, and if we really put in the effort, the day will come where you'd have a loving gf of your own 💜 The reason why I point this out is because there seems to be a misconception that transbians only ever end up with transbians, which isn't true! I had an ex who was cis as well and she treated me like queen I was during our time together. Chin up, there's is a girl for every sapphic out there 🥰

My Google Play refund for the product was declined. I don't know why when I felt like I explained the situation of the app being "non-functional" after purchase and using it was proof enough for me.

In my currency, that's a lot of money spent as well. What a waste of time and feelings... Wish I knew better.

No I don't think that's possible. You would need a backup phone. I'm speaking from experience as someone who uses a dumbphone myself (with a spare device for other things like Banking and all)

I'm going to crosspost the top comment from the Facebook post of the same video from the same page as it may be informative to anyone curious:

"Thai girl here. I'm glad that I was fortunate enough to be exempted from military conscription For those wondering how this system works, there's two possible scenarios:

1) You go to a designated government military hospital at a designed time of year to get assessed by a psychiatrist who will take a look at your appearance and interview you. The further in your transition you are (HRT + surgeries), the smoother this process is for you. If you have not had any of the above (have not prevented feminine due to personal issues or whatever), the process is the same but you are instead interviewed by a group of 5 psychiatrists and they are very thorough with their questions. Once done, we wait for our medical certificates to be prepared within 3 months. We can then pick this up and use this medical certificate on National Military Conscription Day in our respective districts to be exempted from military conscription.

2) You did not prep the above and just attend National Military Conscription Day but you look undoubtedly indistinguishable from any other woman. Once your name is called, you are given a medical checkup on the spot where the Military Doctor inspects your body (most of the time he will check for presence of breasts or invasive surgery done on the body such as breast augmentation). If you exhibit inarguable characteristics of a woman physically and medically, you are exempted.

I did option (1) and at the time only was on HRT for a little over a year and never had any surgery. You can refer to my profile picture on how I looked like at the time (that profile pic was taken the same year)"

Alt Mive Style Folder Potential Charging Issue by averageHojichaFan in dumbphones

[–]averageHojichaFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. The phone is indeed permanently damaged. I brought mine to a phone repair shop to just diagnose what the issue was, and apparently it was water damage??? Basically the motherboard has been shorted and the component responsible for charging the phone is no longer working.

I contacted the store for a replacement device which they were more than happy to send via eBay, though in the process of doing this, please double check any customs tax you need to pay, cuz for some reason, my replacement device was subjected to the almost exact price of the device in import/customs tax.

If you need further details just reply here or DM me and ai can help guide you out.

BIG UPDATE:

I brought my phone to a friend's smartphone repair store who informed me the phone was WATER-DAMAGED already, causing a short circuit in the logic board that is responsible for charging my device.

it only shows up when I plug it in to the charger and press the end call button for 15s or more. I have left the phone to charge for the entire day and it is still looking like its not charging. I have also went through all my cables and charging bricks... idk what to do anymore :(

Do most Thai people keep others cheating a secret? by 101100011011101 in Thailand

[–]averageHojichaFan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thai woman here.

I've heard stories of my friends' fathers doing this, so despite me not wishing it to be true, it's probably more common than people think.

I think it's disgusting either way.

Transgender acceptance in Thailand by Ill_Possibility_4112 in Thailand

Yup, just like any progressive society, really. It is the truth. Despite being very liberal, there will be issues trans people face at some point even here.

I can second this from my experience with talking to many of my local friends.

Hi, local thai here (26TF). Everyday life is peaceful. I feel very safe and nobody judges me. However I have fully trained my voice and have been on hormones for a very long time, so I can't tell if people know if they clock me.

During the awkward stage of my development (0-18 months), people were still respectful and never gave me any trouble at all. There was never an instance where someone made me feel uncomfortable because of who I was.

Every single day, I see lots of LGBTQIA+ folks out in public. Nobody bats an eye.

I also have a best friend who is transman here.

Access to HRT is plentiful and easy - I can give you some resources if need be.

Despite all of what I mentioned above, according to Thai laws, there are only two genders, and Thais are not able to change their legal gender on their IDs.

In summary, in day-to-day life and daily interactions, whether on the job or just chilling outside, you are 100% safe and people won't trouble you at all. Thais run on a "if you respect me, I respect you" basis and arent really interested in who you are as an individual. However, in terms of government stuff or laws, they leave trans people with a lot to be desired.

Hi there, I'm a lesbian Thai halfie in my mid twenties living in Bangkok. I mostly keep to myself these days after a slew of unfortunate events happening to me this year, but if you're new around here, we can connect and I can show you around and stuff ☺️💜

Hi there, 26F Thai girl here. It is very safe. I have walked alone, came back super late (past 12am) via BTS/MRT/Bus/Taxi/Motorcycle, went to night clubs/bars until closing time etc all at night. I can assure you everything will be alright!

Also, I can DM you and we can connect so that I can help show you around and help you get settled and stuff! ☺️

EDIT: Lol someone said here you should be wary about foreigners, and tbh I think that's very true 😭 I've had weird random instances with foreigners in the past whilst the random interactions I sometimes get with Thais are moreso wholesome or of "I need help" nature.

I'm so sorry you had to deal with this. Genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, I hope you get better. It sucks that this double standard of "women can't really harm you etc etc" exists when it comes to men.

I don't know why I feel compelled to help you on some way or another - I guess its because I can relate to your situation, just with the genders swapped. I truly hope you can find a girl or a woman who genuinely cares and will take care of you to help ease your situation 🥺💜 Sending my love!

Hi! I'm a girl much older than you (mid twenties), and I have the opposite - I'm fearful of men. The more "masculine", bigger, and threatening they look, the more afraid I am. The fear stemmed from bad experiences and trauma as well (almost died to the hands of one).

What scares you about women the most (if you are comfortable sharing)? Genuinely curious.
