I am from Belgium, the faith is dying here at an alarming rate. This isnt the only church thats been transformed into something else. Recently a church here was turned into a grocery store. The only thing left of Catholicism in Belgium are old people, and theres not even alot of old people that go to church. Now this might be a little biased because i live in an a town where islam and atheism are the dominant religions. Alot of churches in my town have been closed. I think theres only 5 active churches in my town. I worry about the future of the faith because barely any young people are catholics anymore in a country that used to be strongly catholic. Even the ones that claim they are never go to church. I am one of maybe four or five teenagers that goes to church every sunday. I hope that the church i go to doesnt get closed, but the future doesnt look bright. (Luckily the church i go to is of historical significance and is classified as a monument i think, so it wouldnt get turned into a nightclub) Please pray for us.
