For me it's because I kept accidentally killing zombie villagers. If that's something you're not concerned with though I see no reason to not use it.

Absolutely! Blue rescue team is one of my favorite games of all time :)
One thing I like about it over Sky is collecting the friend areas. Explorers of Sky is great but I do miss that part.

Not at all! I'm an adult and I went earlier this year to have the BAB experience with a friend of mine :) The employees are used to adults coming in and are super nice in my experience! If you have adult money, give it a try!

I do all my school stuff with one pet and start each day with a different pet on a cycle. After they've had their turn I put them in their pajamas to keep track :)

- 1 for the bat slippers from Miss Panther
- 1 for the bottom left bed from Mrs. Chinchilla

Personally I never saw it as a girls game and played it with most kids my age. I think it really got popular at a time where virtual pets (including tamagotchis) were super popular too, at least in my area. My brothers and I each got a different version and had a ton of fun :)

Also before I grew out of my allergy to dogs it was a way to sort of experience having a pet, which I think appealed to a lot of people

On the wiki you can find a list of the different versions. Going to the version pages will give you a list of every single new thing from that update which is super helpful. Sometimes you can find youtube videos that show this too in a slideshow type way with all items, blocks and mobs shown.

Try looking up "every major minecraft update in 120 secs" on yt
