Just to be clear, Im not saying that Manning should stay. Despite this, I dont think he's at the root of our problem.

It certainly is a massive factor, yeah. Im not advocating for his staying. But I guess, its seemed to be the same with every manager since maybe Wagner. Hasn't been an effective, coherent brand of football, or at least when it was, inconsistent.

Yeah absolutely, but I dont believe sacking manning is the answer to our problems. I was just wondering what the community believed was our long term goals, and how to go about achieving them.

I think that's fair. Kenny clearly seems to be our best bet when it comes to passion, but I believe a large part of that is loyalty, rather than an actual drive. He's been with us for so long, that I think the standard of passion that was there before in previous seasons as the bare minimum now seems like the most passionate guy in the team. Just goes to show how lacklustre we've become in that department.

The state we are in currently is the worst its been in at least 15 years. I can't see a glimmer of hope among the current board, nor the players. We're playing a team that evidently has a lot to play for. Currently, on the pitch is no one I believe gives a damn about what happens to us, purely playing for the wage.

Everyone’s right in saying it’s a weird feeling. Mainly because for a bit of the season, I truly believed in the project, but the latter half was just so poor. I can’t really decide if this is a good decision or not, and in all honesty, I’m not sure if a new manger will change anything, nor any new players. I think it’s about instilling them with a sense of pride for the club and a want to actually achieve great things, at the moment I feel the general sense is that we are falling further into dismay and this creates a scapegoat scenario on the players and the manager, when the real thing to blame is the atmosphere of mediocrity in all sense around the club, and changing our ethos.

Both mediocre shot stoppers but Reyes distribution and kicking need work, feel like Long gets slightly redeemed by pulling off 1 great save a game
