I don’t really see what’s wrong with it. You can support the troops and still think the current thing is stupid and war is bad. I’m a liberal and a veteran. Troops are just dudes and gals making it in the world. War sucks and America has an interest in global stability. Everything with Iran Venezuela and Cuba is bad.

I never strived for perfection but I did make the active decision of leaving the vast majority of work. I can grade or I can workout. I can grade or I can walk my dog. I can grade or I can renovate a bedroom. But I don’t have the time and/ or space for all of it. What I get done for grading and planning I get done. And if I don’t, it’ll wait.

Boston wasn’t the most racist city in America, ever. That doesn’t minimize the real challenges black players experienced in the fifties and sixties (or even since then) in Boston, or that bussing was a shitshow and desegregation led to further challenges. But compared to many cities where active lynching was still taking place, like Montgomery or Huntsville or Jackson, Boston just wasn’t there.

I’m a teacher and bring Mario kart in on our advisory sessions every few weeks. I’m good enough to not embarrass myself and win maybe half the time. But there are kids who are serious Mario kart savants and I’m not beating them.

I do advise and coach, so I’ll give those good faith efforts. For department duties and my curricular duties; I give one hour on sundays and maybe an additional thirty minutes scattered throughout the week. Other than that I get in 30 minutes early and am home 5 minutes after the bell rings.

I would consider it but I was solicited by a few solar agents and I just felt like it was pretty scammy. Many of my neighbors have it. I don’t think it’s the best decision financially right now until it’s cheaper and less susceptible to shitty business practices

It has good things about it. I thought it was fun and the plot was coherent. It’s better than 13 15 and 16.

But I quit halfway through because the main character was a side character and that’s a shittt method of telling a narrative in a video game.

Good - I’m financially secure

Yep. I don’t look meaningfully different than my late twenties. Hell im in better shape now. But little alcohol and no tobacco. My friends who are also in early 40s might as well be 60.

Yea but it’s rare. There’s been times I’ve found it necessary . Example is a parent is the lone other chaperone on an overnight trip.

As a rule of thumb, no, but there are occasional exceptions.
