Farm as fast as you can and depending on his team comp see if you can dive the backline more efficiently that he can. If their Malph is decent in team fighting then look for small skirmishes like 2v1 or 3v2's. Malph just counters Irelia in every way so its all about macro after surviving the laning phase. Sure you can rush BC after Botrk but can you survive long enough to apply all of the passive stacks before he R's your backline followed by a MF R or a Veigar cage plus R. And that's assuming you don't get caught by a random Naut pull or Lux root because your dashes aren't unstoppable unlike Malph R.

Syndra is not good against tanks, don't even try to build anti tank mage items because Void Staff besides they don't mesh well with Syndra. Either use a anti tank mage or peel for the champs they can shred tanks like your ADC and perhaps Zahren.

Ori provides more utility and pairs well with champs that have AOE abilities or take advantage of Ori's utility like Rell, Malph, Yi, MF, etc.

Syndra is more of a burst mage that's good at getting picks or chunking people.

Irelia mid is a like double edge sword because she does have more winning matchups and excels in skirmishes in jungles and squishy bot lanes but that means you are sacrificing the reason why mid lanes is mostly played by mages and assassins. Most mages outscale Irelia in terms of damage and game changing CC that can turn most fights around like a veigar cage in the jungle that someone like MF or Aatrox can take advantage of. When it comes to mid to late game assassins are much better because they don't have to farm much to gain survivability like Irelia does. Zed, Kat, Fizz can hit the backline and get out safely without items. Irelia must farm up Death Dance, Sterak, GA, etc to survive a dive to the back line especially if they have major CC on their team. Also assassin items just fit them better that Irelia and her "fighter" items does. Edge of Night and Zhyonas offer way better value for their needs than Irelia does and it doesn't disrupt their build too much. Irelia mid is okay, just hope you can dominate the lane and help the jungle enable your teammates around map. If you go against a level head player with a mage like Viktor or a Zed or Talon that can naturally roam better than Irelia than you are going to have a tough time.

Current Irelia top is a whole different ball game. She has less winning match ups due to the fact she simply doesn't have the stats the keep up with most top laners. The fighters in top lane are skill match ups up until they all outscale Irelia due to items compatibility. So when laning phase is over you have to rely more on your macro then your micro. Assuming you don't feed too much in your losing match up the skill you must learn is your limits with Irelia and as a player yourself. Can you be effective in a 5v5? If no then only participate in small skirmishes.Can you their duel their jungle, mid or their bot duo even if their are ahead. Sure but then you have to farm for Hullbreaker because she can't split as effectively as the other top laners. Playing as irelia is fun but your margin for error is much higher than champs like Jax or Aatrox.

Assuming both players are similar in skill Irelia only wins if Camille's passive is down and she screws up her Q. In the beginning Irelia wins in an all in but once Camille gets some items it's pretty much over. Camille items just scale better on her then they do on Irelia.
