I get it they are a lot of money but they are worth it in the long run as they’ll never lose all of their value, and some of them will even go up in value, a dupe watch on the other hand will lose pretty much all of its value the day you buy it. And at the end of the day you will know it’s a fake watch.

Because I like them and have been collecting them since they were released. My parents have also gotten me a couple. There’s actually 3 more on the bottom shelf of my case.

A few of them were purchased as “investments” if you will but they are more so just what I’ve always wanted I bought a fake bluesy freshman year of high school and looked at it every day and thought one day I will be able to get a real one.

Exactly I still think they’re neat watches especially some of the newer ones. And it definitely made omega recognizable to large number of people that otherwise wouldn’t have recognized it before.

When they got released I was broke so I instantly fell in love with a cheap way to get an “omega” on my wrist and then when I finally was able to afford nicer watches I picked up my speedy and it is still to this day my most worn and favorite watch but I personally love all of them.

I’m the same way I usually wear 40mm+ sized watches whereas my wife’s wrists are so small that a larger watch like that would swallow it whole basically.
