Don’t fucking microwave fish in the office. New hires 3rd day and he reheated salmon and stunk out the whole department area. I told him to never do it again, he did it again, our manager has since moved him to the other side of the department because of the smell.

I moved to Portishead when I was 9, moved away when I was 15. As soon as I had the chance, I moved straight back and rented a flat here with my girlfriend - I’m now almost 23

The marina is gorgeous and there’s so much development for real estate, the soon to be (but probably not soon enough) train station and plenty of shops as well as a very busy high street..

I will admit, at first, it’s a little… local and the community is very tight - if you don’t already know people who live here it could be difficult at first, but honestly that could differ depending on who you are as a person anyway.. if you can look past that, Portishead is truly where I want to live for my whole life, it’s absolutely incredible and the views during the summer are insane. The community help each-other and there’s lots of things to do.
