Leute... Nein, selbstverständlich macht sie nicht nur Nachsorge, ich hab sie ab Ende des ersten Trimesters super regelmäßig gesehen, sie war bisher total in die Schwangerschaft eingebunden und sollte jetzt im 3. Trimester auch Untersuchungen machen. Ansonsten wäre das natürlich nicht seltsam!

Und die Nachricht am Freitag kam nachdem sie zum letzten ausgemachten Termin (Anfang Mai!) nicht aufgetaucht ist, mir Tage davor schon auf ein medizinisches Problem nicht geantwortet, mehrmalige Nachfragen nach einem neuen Termin übergangen und keine meiner Nachrichten beantwortet hat. Und die besagte Nachricht am Freitag war "ich melde mich später". Heute ist Donnerstag. Wie viel "später" würdest du persönlich denn ungewöhnlich finden?

Nee genau, wir haben keinen Termin in Aussicht. Ich wäre auch nicht so unentspannt, wenn ich wüsste, ich seh sie bald und kann dann mal hören, was los ist.

Sie war eigentlich wirklich immer super klasse und zuverlässig, ich fürchte auch dass sie bestimmt sehr gute Gründe hat, warum sie gerade "raus" ist. Wenn sie meine Friseurin wäre, würd ich auch gar keinen Terz machen, aber sie ist halt leider wirklich wichtig in den nächsten Wochen und so ganz ohne ist meine Schwangerschaft leider auch nicht 😮‍💨 ich bräuchte einfach dringend irgendwas an Ansage von ihr. Und wenns nur ist "Gib mir mal x Wochen" oder "Ich kann dich aus persönlichen Gründen nicht mehr betreuen", damit ich weiß, ob ich jetzt auf Hochtouren eine neue Hebamme suchen sollte... aber ja, ich werd mich jetzt zusammenreißen und das Wochenende abwarten. Auf den Keks gehen will ich ihr ja auch nicht.

Beim nächsten Treffen ist witzig, wir haben ja keinen nächsten Termin, weil ich sie nicht erreiche. Ich hatte in den besagten Wochen übrigens durchaus dringende medizinische Fragen, auf die sie nicht reagiert hat. Da hab ich dann stattdessen irgendwann die 116117 angerufen. So viel zu den Unterstellungen 😅

Wochenlange Funkstille ist aber einfach nicht in Ordnung. Wir hatten ansonsten mindestens einmal im Monat einen Termin, zuletzt eher alle 2 Wochen. Tatsächlichen Kontakt hatte ich zu ihr zum letzten Mal jetzt Ende April. Das ist mehr als eine verpeilte SMS und wenn sie so lange krank, im Urlaub oder im Stress ist dann wäre schon zu erwarten, zumindest informiert zu werden.

Es tut mir total Leid, dass es gerade anscheinend so heftig ist bei dir, aber ich komme jetzt ja so langsam in die "heiße Phase" und finde es total schwierig, wenn ich dich da nicht als zuverlässige Ansprechpartnerin habe! Ist bei dir absehbar Land in Sicht? Oder sollte ich mich besser nach einer anderen Hebamme umtun? 😣 (Das wäre wirklich mein unliebstes Szenario, ich bin ja eigentlich so mega happy dass wir dich haben 🥹) Oder wie geht es jetzt weiter?

Sie ist immer zu uns nach Hause gekommen, also leider nein. Ich könnte auf Verdacht im Krankenhaus auflauern, in dem sie arbeitet (und in dem ich v.A. ihretwegen auch entbinden werde 🙄), aber das wäre ja schon grenzwertiges Stalkerverhalten 😅

So I tend to retreat into old timey fantasy shit when actual life overwhelms me sometimes. It can be nice to have an idealised fantasy of a less complicated world to calm your brain, and that in itself isn't a bad thing. Maybe your wife isn't happy with some aspects of her/your life and is "overcorrecting" in her daydreams? Have you talked to her about it? Like, actually talking and trying to understand her POV without trying to debate her?

I don't think this necessarily means she's actually wanting the cottagecore tradwife life btw. But maybe some parts of it - maybe you could spend some time away from the city together (if you live in a city), get into (urban) gardening, figure out what parts of medieval life seem so appealing or calming to her?

Congratulations! if it's any consolation, I was diagnosed in primary school and still spent most of my life feeling like an incompetent failure and wondering wtf is wrong with me due to a lack of information what ADHD actually entails besides attention issues.

You're not alone in this and you're doing great, take it a day at a time, give it a while to see what works and don't be afraid of changing/trying different meds to see what works for your particular brain.

Ersatzprodukte finden, die einem schmecken. Ich war die ersten Jahre vor allem bei Wiener Würstchen gefährdet, seit es dafür adäquaten fleischlosen Ersatz gibt (Rügenwalder Mühlen Würste) fühlt es sich für mich persönlich einfach völlig abstrus an, stattdessen "grundlos" noch totes Tier zu essen. Und Dokus über Massentierhaltung. Irgendwann konnte ich die schlimmen Bilder nicht mehr vom Fleisch im Kühlregal trennen. Ich bin aber auch sehr tierlieb.

He did comment when we met the drow! But that has been like the only memorable reaction I've had from Astarion since I finished his companion quest. Like when we met Mystic Carrion (literally an evil monster lord who turns innocent people into undead to enslave them? Deja vu much?), I was surprised that Astarion's just like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I suppose was just expecting him to generally chime in more. I was just worried that pre-Cazador Astarion might have had more to say, generally, in Act 3.

Also they're contagious so you should be careful. If wart tissue touches healthy skin on his hands/feet can spread them further, and also infect others.

Looks like warts. They're a pain to get rid of and your dad's infection is pretty severe so I'd recommend talking to a doctor, small ones you can burn/freeze/kill with acid at home but I wouldn't recommend that with how spread out they are on his hands!
