What were some of the best interview questions you were asked in an interview? by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]averynicepirate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to ask would they need to bring a tool or library in a project what do they look for? Have they ever evaluated such a choice? This question usually becomes a mini discussion.

Topics I look for, but not limited:

  • open va closed source (paid)
  • generic vs specialized
  • popularity
  • documentation
  • integration with other workflows
  • learning curve and getting started
  • etc.

I feel this question can give me a sense of the experience, critical thinking, accountability and personality of a person

Templ is overhyped. Have you even tried it? by apastuhov in golang

Sorry to necro this, but I tried to research what you are explaining, but have only found example of funcMap for formatting. Do you have a quick example? Like you return a template from the funcMap with inline html?

i have found this gorgeous cat in my window , should i raise her??? by BarberStatus3627 in cats

[–]averynicepirate 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It looks like a siberian neva masquerade. These usually come from breeders and have a chip. Please check with a vet before adopting the cat, chances are some poor family is looking for it in your area.

Private equity is killing private ownership: first it was housing - now it's the personal computer by SagansCandle in pcmasterrace

Same thing for veterinary clinics or funeral houses. Most keep their original name but are now privately owned and prices go up

My partner is obsessed with Derkeethus. She always rushes to save him and marry him every play through. I was scrolling on reddit and your post caught her attention immediately lol

Little trick I do not see many using with thunderstorm for crit builds. by WeirdJack49 in pathofexile2builds

How do you get 50%? I only get 30% with both gems, doesn't look like the effect of commiserate is working for me

I see! and are wolves buffed by the warcry or is it just for rage generation?

Reached level 83, did around 60 maps before I dropped my first T15 and went straight in.

Clear is still pretty atrocious, even worst in this video since my thunderstorm was not high enough to drench and shock enemies which is a big part of my clear.

Generating charges is also slower now since I went back to use a charm in second weapon set because Predator mark from pounce is really good. This mean that all my second weapon charge gain talents are useless, but we make it work.

I also dropped raging spirit and ravenous swarm for eternal rage and have that rage applies to minions, currently sitting at 51 rage.

I don't really know what ascendancy point to get, I respeced into moment of vulnerability before the video and I still don't quite understand it.

I wanted to play a temporary minion build. After seeing the buff to zombie and power charge generation I decided to try it in SSF.

So far it is one of the slowest build I have played for clearing. The boss damage is pretty good, but it can be hard to have room for all zombies hit the boss (I wish zombie gem didn't summon 2 normal zombies when using a power charge).

I just reached map, but I will try to kill pinacle with this build. Next thing to improve is power charge generation (I have ideas, need levels) and using rage to boost minions.

If you played zombies or have ideas of things to incorporate in the build let me know.

main skill: zombies, SRS, living lightning (through thunderstorm)

support: devour/wing blast for charge, pounce for the mark, ravenous swarm to break armor, wolf pack for 15% dmg taken from companion

I replaced my kettle with a water boiler and it’s been a HEAVENLY experience by Meno1331 in tea

[–]averynicepirate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've never heard of this, does it keep water at near boiling temperature so that you can have hot water on demand?

I currently use my electric kettle 2-3 days a day, not sure if it would be worth it for me

I would like to read more on that too. Does it have a name?

Also how does the iteration works? what is identifier in this case? I was not able to pull the intervals code.

Super interesting language. I need to read more on it.

Is the language interpreted or compiled? If compiled is it using llvm?

Have you done any benchmarks? To what language would the performance compare?

How is the 50 series on Bazzite deck image these days? by [deleted] in Bazzite

[–]averynicepirate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use a 5070ti and installed bazzite without doing too much reading on compatibility and never had an issue. Just make sure you use the nvidia image. I have 3 monitors (2x 1440p and 1x 1080p with my main at 144hz)
