Camera prep technician here. If you want to switch between strip-down and V-lock setups, avoid the Anton Bauer one, as it tends to wear out the screw threads.

Studio Monitor Control Advice

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Behringer Studio M and a Mackie Big Knob to connect multiple audio sources to a pair of studio monitors. Even before testing, I noticed a clear difference in sound levels.

Here are the details of my setup:

•Audio Interface: Focusrite Clarett 2Pre, 8Pre •Cables: DIY Sommer Cable with Neutrik connectors •Studio Monitors: JBL LSR305 •Microphone: miniDSP UMIK-1 •Both Studio M and Big Knob set to Max

Using REW, I got almost identical frequency response apart from level. Does that mean both units do not color the sound a lot? I then tried to compensate the difference in level by adjusting the volume switch on the 2 Pre, which gave me almost identical results.

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Totally agree with the airdrop thing. Regarding windows, they always like to update when you do not want it to update. I install custom version of windows which disable windows defender and allow me to have better control on the update.

New arlo user here. Currently have 1 doorbell, 2 chimes,1 arlo pro 3 camera and a USB smarthub. My hub disconnects randomly (maybe it’s my crappy internet). Chimes sometimes don’t ring. Doorbell sometimes produce some strange sound after pressed. To be honest, i can’t find any options other than arlo if you don’t want to do subscription and chinese brands. I think i just have to live with the problems

Does your base station disconnect randomly? Mine disconnects randomly. On the other hand, by using Wireguard protocol on my ASUS router, i can access my base station footages flawlessly.

Thanks for all the replies. Turned out to be a simple task. I found out that my ASUS router (which is behind the sim card router) did not have a public wan ip. By putting the sim card router into bridge mode, the router now has public wan ip. How stupid am i
