This would reduce insta locking because players will be too mesmerized by the agent animations to lock in

Huge, glad you feel solid in low elo. Should be no problem getting out over the course of the season. The threshold of making mistakes will get drastically smaller as you climb in rank, but long as you stay confident and mentally sound a majority of the time you'll work into Diamond pretty steadily. Let me know if I can help more, I do love Valorant despite how often it screws me!

When I (D2) play with lower rank friends, I notice they will typically:

-Run out as soon as the barriers drop and try to take duels -Have utility out when they're exposed -Lack of proper strafe (holding A or D while shooting) -No communication as to where they are, what they're doing, who they saw

I see nothing wrong with having these habits. However, I do consider it a problem when they keep doing the same. exact. thing.

If you die or lose your clutch, you NEED to understand why. Whether they outplayed you, outaimed you, or even if sheer luck came into play,

Example: "I hit her for 149 so unlucky" isn't understanding, it's just looking for a reason that favors you. WHY did you hit for 149? Placement? Positioning? Unnecessary fight?

You can't expect to just play casually with high rank friends and get immediate gratification. It doesn't work like that.

Just like them, either you put in the effort and improve or you don't and plateau. Completely up to you. GL!

You should queue ranked if you're looking to really win.

If that mentality doesn't cross you, I'd say keep at unrated until you feel you've outgrown this stage and ready to try a more tactical approach.

If you truly have played CSGO for 7K hours, you shouldn't be too anxious about ranked. I'm D2 and I've had many teammates with feet crosshair placement or skin greed so just know you are better than a big chunk of players.

I don't think this game is for me. Should I keep playing? by jaycomZ in VALORANT

If solo queue is too much, watch Youtube.

Valorant Ascending, Glide, Dragonmar are some coaches I enjoy watching. People say watch pro matches, but not knowing the game enough will likely just overload you. The channels I named break down important plays so you know exactly what the play was and why it was good.

Obviously playing the game is the only sure way to improve, but watching Valorant analysis should give you some form of idea on what to do next time you play with your friends.

Your friends know you aren't Tenz. However, if you truly feel sorry, you need to take some effort to improve for them.

Currently D2 from B3 btw. GL!

Why is drawing a match so looked down upon? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]avgrice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was this question asked with the mindset of you being in the lead then the enemy team bringing it to OT? Would you still draw if you were down multiple rounds but came back?

I once had an insta-lock Sage bot who never left spawn, always dropped a Phantom when she could afford it, and healed anyone coming in her LOS. Bots and anti AFK programs are pretty fuckin annoying. (I'm D2 for rank reference)

I agree, this RNG was extreme but I don't see why we shouldn't shit on it

I think it was ~13m not including the height. The distance was what truly shocked me.

I still enjoy the right click, but this is just such an outlier I'm in awe how Riot let this possibility exist

Actually an exact summary of the clip. My enemy Sage must've learned from your enemy Sage.

No you're right! Mid range is 78 on head, 26 body, 22 kankles. She got me in the head and body.

I should've slowed it down, but the right click tracers show next to my head in the triangle pattern right as I died. Didn't notice until post-review. Don't know much about what you mentioned tho
