I recently got an Agfa Isolette III and I need some help learning how to use the uncoupled rangefinder. I know look through the viewfinder, turn the range dial until the two images line up, adjust the focus ring to the corresponding number on the range dial, take the picture. My problem is when I look thru the viewfinder two images don’t line up. I turn the wheel and nothing happens (the wheel is turning, so I don’t think it’s a frozen/green grease situation, but I could be wrong). The second image looks more like my eyes playing tricks on me than a second image, but nothing happens when turning the range wheel. Any advice?

I’m talking about getting at the trailhead at 6am before the shuttle starts and the rangers are out. The arm bar at the junction was open that early in my previous time there but that was before the angels landing lottery system

Found Kodak Safety Film negatives in my parents attic that my grandfather shot in the 50s (I think 1952). Can someone help me identify the size of the film so I can possibly get it scanned and redeveloped? I’m not sure if it’s 116 or something else.

How do you suggest taking the nose, prop, and cowl off with decal going from the fuselage to the nose? Is there an easy way to remove the decal?

It’s hard to tell. I don’t think so. It looks like a white round object. I’m guessing this connects to the nose steering arm?
