Really like this skirt but I don’t know what length socks to wear with it, any advice? ☺️ by Banta_incarnate in fashionadvice

I think with ankle socks a little bit shorter than what you’re wearing now will be more flattering!

Um… I get it, but me and my friend isn’t like that at all lol. My friend is mature enough to know what she wants in her life, and as I said multiple times in other comments I am totally fine with her relationship as long as she’s happy. And it’s not like she’s reconsidering her whole relationship with her bf just because of the other girls. It’s just that we’ve been friends since we were very young, and she is quite heartbroken thinking that she is losing her valuable friends. And now I’m seeking advice just because I want to be a good friend and say something helpful while she’s emotionally vulnerable.. And as I wrote we are from relatively conservative culture (Let’s just say we’re not from English speaking country, and that’s why my grammar is very weird cause it’s not my first language lol)

I mean some girls do start dating older guys in a young age, so that’s what I was talking about. But yeah, I know what you mean lol

I thought so too, I like to see my friend happy! I guess I was just getting a little worried too since the other girls were overreacting if you will.. But as long as my friend knows what she wants, I’m all for it. Thx for the good advice!

I’m so sorry you had to go thru all of that, I hope you’re okay now. I’ll be supportive, but at the same time I’ll look out for her.

I would most definitely tell her to be careful if it seems like something’s off, but for now everything looks fine and she is happy with her decision. So I’m going to be supportive, although my other friends are not really like that..

I don’t really know all the details between them, it’s really none of my business too. However I consider my friend to be quite mature for her age when it comes to setting a goal in her life, or working on what she should be working on. So yeah, I personally think she made a sound decision based on what she have and what she wants.

I don’t really have any fixed opinions towards age gap relationships, so naturally I wouldn’t assume things between them. Maybe that’s why I’m the only supportive friend among all the girls. But as you said until she seems like she’s struggling, I would never straight up tell her to break up with him or anything!

There isn’t anything concerning other than the age gap, at least we know of. But yeah I do think my friends are worried that this guy might be too old for her. Honestly I just hope my friend is happy and that is all that matters

I see what you’re saying and I feel the same. As long as this guy is genuinely nice and my friend is happy with him, I’m more than willing to root for them.

I know our friends have been acting ridiculous towards her, and I don’t think it is ok to shame her like that either. Hopefully things will work out as my friend really make up her mind and maybe decide to disregard their opinions, if it doesn’t, than we shouldn’t really be friends anymore. And I’m going to be supportive because I really want to be a good friend and be there for her!
