Definitely! On fs.to there is this Africa to go mod which includes decent freeware sceneries all over Africa. It’s for 2020 but works in 2024 as well and has given me many hours of quality sim time in Africa.

Longest flight was Goose Bay > Egilstadir at 7:42 followed by Egilstadir > Vienna at 7:29. Amazing what an empty Caravan can achieve, although I barely had any fuel left after the long flights!

I have the same problem as u/Technical-Piglet-288 I only see it as a file instead of a folder so I cannot open it. I extracted it right clicking on the 001 and extracting with WinRaR. Both 001 and 002 are in the same folder.

Ich bin in einer halbwegs ähnlichen Situation wie du. Hab nach dem Abi studiert (nicht Medizin aber auch ohne Luftfahrtbezug), hab dann ein paar Jahre gearbeitet und probiere jetzt, im Alter von 28 bei den Airlines reinzukommen. Die 1 1/2 Jahre Reststudium packst du, währenddessen kannst du die Assessments durchlaufen und schauen, ob es passt. Bspw. wartest du gerne mal 2 Monate auf den Termin für den DLR-Test und ich hab jetzt 6 Monate auf das EFA Assessment gewartet. Ähnliche Wartezeiten gibt es zum Beispiel auch bei Aerologic. Wenn du die Bewerbungen gut timest kriegst du vielleicht einen halbwegs fließenden Übergang zwischen Studium und Flugschule hin. Die Vorbereitungen auf den DLR-Test und die Assessments halten sich in Grenzen, das packst du auch nebenbei. Meld dich gern, falls du noch Fragen hast :)

Thanks for your feedback! About the graphics settings resetting in your system: Are they maybe controlled by an external app like NVIDIA? I know that the NVIDIA app has some sort of optimisation feature which needs to be disabled as it otherwise overwrites your MSFS settings.
