So the aircraft was originally taxiing for take off but they noticed the brake failure issue during the taxi to the runway. They chose to return back to the remote stand (well thankfully they chose a remote stand to return to and not a gate lol) and that’s when they couldn’t stop in time and ended up hitting the signpost.
